Allow me to introduce myself - my name is Frank Fucile and I am an experienced elearning specialist with more than 15 years working in the fields of online learning, education and corporate training. I am seeking out contract work that I can complete from my home office in Nanaimo, British Columbia. I have been designing, developing and supporting Online Programs and Courses since 1995 and I have an extensive portfolio of courses and programs that I have worked on - see attached portfolio document. With a fully equipped home office I have all the necessary communication and technology tools at my disposal. I am also an experienced web conference moderator and facilitator in both Blackboard Collaborate (formerly Elluminate) and Adobe Connect.
I have fifteen years of broad experience helping universities, businesses and educators create extraordinary online learning and social environments. I specialize in online course, program and platform development, multimedia and video production, and project management for a variety of business development and academic needs.
My background is in Information Technology, but my passion is Teaching and Learning. I love to design, develop and deliver e-learning. My specialty is in the area of Software and Technology, but I would be willing to tackle any instructional area. I have been doing this for fun for over 15 years...starting with delivering content through Web sites I designed and developed, then branching into Learning Management Systems (LMS) and now using Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) to bridge the gap between the various e-learning tools and delivery techniques.
I make it my mission to provide top tier training and instructional material based on the latest and greatest research and technology. My strong academic background in in the psychological and communication theories which govern the transfer and retention of information combined with my years of practical experience designing, developing, and delivering instructional content have given me the knowledge, skills, and ability to do just that. The United States Navy taught me to always follow through. I am organized, can do plenty of multitasking. I have six month experience the the AS/400 system talking care of Inventory Control. Staying busy at work was drilled into me by the United States Navy. I do not allow things to go unfinished. I am a great and fast typist. I am dedicated to follow through with any job, staying busy is number one to me. I have one year working as an Order Entry Operator where I took care of sorting mail to organizing spreadsheets from paper to excel. I also have plenty of knowledge with customer service. I have a passion for data entry, transcribing, spreadsheet creating. I currently attend college and studying in the Human Services field. Ask any of my previous employers and they will tell you I am a very fast learner, passionate about my work, and love learning new things!
I am military veteran who would like to take my skills and education to a new level. I am looking to secure a position that would allow me to work productively and still give me the ability to be home with my children. I have over 5 years of customer service experience and also retail and food service experience as well. I have some HTML and Web Building experience and have also taken a few Database Development courses. I have a certificate in Medical Office/Billing and Coding from Augusta State University. I am patient, hardworking, and ambitious. I work well independently as well as being a strong team player. I am a quick learner and very organized. I am looking for a company that needs a determined employee to join its ranks.
