For the past nine years I have had the opportunity to teach 21st century skills to elementary level students and train faculty members how to use software and web-based tools. As an instructional technology specialist and certified educator with a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, I use various software and web-based tools on a daily basis, including Microsoft Office, Google Apps, screencasting tools such as Camtasia, Learning Management Systems such as Blackboard, Schoology and Moodle as well as other digital tools used for teaching and learning. I am also currently enrolled in a web design class to gain familiarity with HTML, CSS, Photoshop and other tools for web content management and development. I am seeking new opportunities for educational content creation and instructional design as well as projects to which I can apply these technical skills.
