My name is Kate Vandeveld, and I am a marketing consultant for organizations and businesses that are making an impact on the world we live in. After graduating from Wellesley College in 2010, I spent some time in Malawi living and teaching at a small orphanage run by a non-profit. Through this experience, I learned that there is a plethora of organizations who are working hard to make an impact, and use a lot of their human resources to raise funds and awareness about their work. When I moved back to the United States, I pursued an opportunity to try my hand at a brand new career in marketing. As the Integrated Marketing Manager at a growing Boston-based company, BostonChefs.com, I was able to explore many aspects of the marketing world – social media, email marketing, digital and print advertising, print collateral, event production, and more.
