I, Nicole M. Bowen have been a Product Graphics Designer at Techtronic Industries (TTi) as well as a Digital Imaging/Design Freelancer in Anderson, SC since December 2011. I graduated from Clemson University ('11), having received a Bachelors of Science degree in Graphic Communications, graduating Cum Lade in my class/#6 in my major, as well as receiving a Cooperative Education certificate. Recently I have started my own Etsy shop and am selling custom designed stationary specializing in Wedding Stationary. During my studies at Clemson University I have completed two full-time internships, worked as a freelance digital imaging specialist for the past 3 years, and worked part-time at a local student-run printing job shop. By working during my college years I was able to gain the relevant work experience as well as an extensive knowledge base for my major and future career. In addition to my classes and working, I also was a 4 year letter winning student-athlete and a two-time ACC Champion in both individual and team categories for Clemson NCAA Women's Rowing. Being part of Clemson’s Rowing Team taught me the mental discipline and time management needed in order to juggle everything as well as excelling in the classroom. In my spare time I eagerly want to learn about new industry trends and photoshop techniques in order to make my work more unique. I also enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible with activities such as hiking, running, kayaking, and playing a variety of sports. Recently I received my AFAA Personal Training Certification and am looking to then certify in CrossFit and compete regularly with CrossFit competitions.

I've worked with educational technologies for over 8 years, using e-learning software like Articulate and Captivate to be used in LMS courses. The LMS's I've designed in are ANGEL, Blackboard, and Moodle. I've been working exclusively in Moodle for the last 4 years, doing consulting for site implementation and design, course development, instructional design, and some code customizations. My focus recently has been using the knowledge I gained from my master's degree in Instructional Design to develop highly interactive and effective Moodle courses.

My long-time expertise can help you to develop solid website content such as how-to tutorials and guides, FAQ, online courses, website wiki or knowledge-base. I’ve personally planned, developed and written more than 120 how-to tutorials online, 4 printed books and countless articles over the span of 28 years on varied topics such as art theory, crafting, fantasy design, computer graphics, website usage, copyright issues and much more. I also analyzed the sales of THOUSANDS of individual craft tutorials and patterns through portal websites which I developed and managed for the last 8 years. During that time, I evaluated the writings of hundreds of instructors who created great lessons, bad ones, and everything in between. This process has given me a thorough understanding of what makes a great lesson, how to look at the big picture, how to break it down into small, digestible chunks and plan the best way to effectively pass instructions to clients or students. If you need: 1) Help fine-tuning your website content or online help guides; 2) Help creating clear and solid how-to instructions; 3) A comprehensive review on how to improve your existing knowledge content or instructions; Then please contact me so we can discuss your needs! Thanks, Eni
