I'm an artist with a linguistic background. I have an MA Degree Linguistics: specialized in English and Spanish languages, in particular. I've always been painting and on the 4th year of my university studies got interested in arts, graphics and illustration. Took various courses on graphics and illustration, participated in numerous exhibitions as well as ran solo ones. Later on my keen interest towards visual storytelling took me to the year course of design and animation, after the completion of which I started taking design jobs for local and International organizations on free-lance basis. Later in 2012 established Eiva Arts Foundation ( Yerevan, Armenia) in order to use my skills and knowledge for the positive impact on society and started doing design and illustration on full time basis. The mission of the organization is to practice social art as a tool of voicing out social issues and contribute to the creation of the alternative content as a new form of information sharing and educational resource. You can check Eiva Arts Foundation’s portfolio on www.eiva.am

After writing/editing/updating resumes and proofreading documents or papers for friends and family for many years (and sometimes even friend's of family's friends), I decided to utilize my talents to supplement my income as a teacher. My proofreading skills are impeccable, if you are seeking someone to proofread a book, essay, article, blog, website, recipe, etc. I can update and format your resume into a work of art that will have perspective employers intrigued. I believe that communication is the key to the success of any project. I won't bid on your job unless I am confident that I can complete it in a way that will exceed your expectations. (Note: I can explain the one low rating that I received from a contractor. Please inquire if you have any concerns.)
I am an experienced graphic designer, photographer, and internationally certified writing consultant and tutor. I earned a Bachelor of Art degree in Studio Art from Coastal Carolina University in 2007, where I concentrated in photography and printmaking. I subsequently earned a Master of Art degree in Studio Art, with an emphasis in New Media, from West Virginia University in 2011. While earning my master's degree, I worked as the in-house designer for Glenville State College, in Glenville, WV, where I produced a wide variety of print and digital projects. I have since maintained an active freelance business, working as private contractor for a number of corporate, government, and private companies. In 2012, I became a Writing Consultant for the Florida Atlantic University Center for Excellence in Writing. Through the training for this position, I've earned an internationally recognized Master Level Certification for Tutoring, Editing, and Consultancy through the College Reading and Learning Association. I began my undergraduate studies as an English major, and although I ultimately found my way to the fields of art and design, writing and literature have always figured prominently in my interests and engagements. I am also deeply committed to education, and after working in higher education in various capacities, including as an adjunct professor, graduate teaching assistant, and as a writing tutor, I have begun the pursuance of a K-12 teaching license. My technical skills include exemplary photo editing, retouching, and Photoshop operation. I have taught a number of digital photography courses, which has provided me with extensive experience in all aspects of photography. I have also been commissioned for both candid journalistic photography, and formal posed portraiture. My design strengths are with print media, layout, poster, and cover design. However, I am experienced and confident in all forms of graphic design. My unique combination of design experience and software knowledge, writing and editing competency, intimate knowledge of contemporary art and art history, and a comprehensive understanding of higher and secondary education give me a specialized knowledge base that can be applied to a vast number of projects. Hello, my name is Stacy Aguilar. I am a public and non-profit consultant, grant writer, and project developer experienced in marketing, civic engagement, and policy analysis. As a digital media teacher at the Young Women's Leadership Academy, I help students aspire to the big, bold goals we always hoped we had the guts to pursue so early in life. And as an engaged member of my city, I serve through organizations like SteerFW and the Bluebonnet Circle Alliance. I moved to New York City after graduating from Texas A&M University to complete a degree in public policy at NYU Wagner's Graduate School of Public Service. Through partnership with the LBJ School of Public Affairs in Austin, TX, I finished my degree with Dr. Harrison Keller, conducting research to assess higher education productivity. I also trained under Kate Canales, where I learned how to apply design thinking and ethnographic research methodologies to analyze childhood obesity in Texas. Ultimately, I love creative spaces, community engagement, good conversation, and good design. And for me, design is more than graphics. It involves everything from our cities, to our streets, our systems for doing things, and our interactions with others. I specialize in project development, event planning, communications and marketing development, and grant writing for initiatives related to: - Education - STEM and STEAM programming - Public improvement - Arts and culture - Civic engagement Interested in working with me? I am a multifaceted, creative, startup loving brand guru with a knack for detail and a lot to offer my employer. Established in visual design, with expertise in brand development, and a passion for helping entrepreneurs and small business owners compete in the marketplace. It is my goal to collaborate with others in cross-disciplinary fields in order to develop a more creative world.
