I have run a widely read blog about Southern Gospel music since 2007. Over the years, it has surprisingly become one of the top news sources in Southern Gospel. As such, I have developed an eye for detail and an accuracy in typing. You can find my blog at www.swainsmusings.com. Another project I am involved in is www.vasoutherngospel.com, a site that aims to compile a list of Southern Gospel concerts throughout the state of VA during each year. The site requires me to take concert data from various sites and JPGs and plug them into the site's database, and I have been doing so since 2009. I also have an extensive background in theatre, having played such roles as Bob Wallace in "White Christmas," Mr. Boddy in "Clue: The Musical," Fred Graham/Petruchio in "Kiss Me, Kate," CC Showers in "The Diviners," and Reverend John Hale in "The Crucible." These productions were a blast, but were also directed with a high standard of professionalism from which I learned much and stretched myself to play many different types of characters, from the fun and upbeat to the dark and serious.
