In the first 9 years of my employment, I was involved in the management of health and nutrition researches in the Philippines. Specifically, my worked revolved around the development and writing of health and nutrition researches; their submission to foreign funding agencies; and their implementation when grant(s) is/are procured. In the next 12 years, I was employed in different pharmaceutical companies. I started as clinical research coordinator, followed by being sales and marketing manager, as marketing research consultant, and then as head of a business corporation. After leaving the pharmaceutical industry in mid 2005, I started to have full time medical practice.
Do you have a book in your head and need somebody to write it down? Do you have a book on paper and need someone to polish it, tighten it up, shape it, make it sing? Are you a merchant with a continuous stream of copy that absolutely has to be bright and error-free? As a copy editor, I write and proofread copy with the precision of a computer programmer or an accountant, in both of which fields I’ve had considerable experience. Nothing gets by me. That’s only the beginning. In my 20-year career as non-profit program manager and back-office polymath, I’ve edited minutes and articles, written successful grants and sales letters, technical documentation, user guides, and financial reports, and designed newsletters and all manner of public relations and promotional materials. In 2009, I retired from the office of a small non-profit adult care community after ten years building the organization’s community support base, level of fundraising, technical and financial infrastructure, and public relations professionalism. My appeal letters increased every year and ultimately doubled the yield of L’Arche Nehalem Community’s Annual Appeal. Since then, I’ve been writing books, building a writing portfolio, as well as pursuing some creative ventures in other fields. My book of anecdotes, The Depressed Guy’s Book of Wisdom, is published by Chipmunka Publishers, London. I’ve been doing a weekly column on writing as the Sunday Editor of Gather.com’s Writing system portal. I’ve done a huge variety of creative writing during these three years, including non-fiction, stories, poetry, and a full-length young adult novel. I would love to talk to you about your project or opportunity. I know I can be an enormous help to your endeavors.

As a semi-retired citizen, I decided to refine my latent writing skills. Toward that end, I spend a great deal of time researching in order to deliver knowledgeable content and/or accurate product descriptions. It is for that reason that I generally do not accept assignments that pay less than .04 cents per word. Since I am semi-retired, I especially appreciate clients who need two to four articles weekly for their website or blog. As a website designer, I believe content and presentation are paramount. My websites continually evolve to include the best old and new-style components.

I'm an artist with a linguistic background. I have an MA Degree Linguistics: specialized in English and Spanish languages, in particular. I've always been painting and on the 4th year of my university studies got interested in arts, graphics and illustration. Took various courses on graphics and illustration, participated in numerous exhibitions as well as ran solo ones. Later on my keen interest towards visual storytelling took me to the year course of design and animation, after the completion of which I started taking design jobs for local and International organizations on free-lance basis. Later in 2012 established Eiva Arts Foundation ( Yerevan, Armenia) in order to use my skills and knowledge for the positive impact on society and started doing design and illustration on full time basis. The mission of the organization is to practice social art as a tool of voicing out social issues and contribute to the creation of the alternative content as a new form of information sharing and educational resource. You can check Eiva Arts Foundation’s portfolio on www.eiva.am
