I am a freelance illustrator and cartoonist with credits in Classical Guitar Magazine and Hamburger Abendblatt. My work was exhibited in Berlin at CARTOONAGE 2013. I am interested in the way facial expression and anatomy can reveal character and tell a story. I'm also a broadcaster and voice talent with a range of projects under my belt. My last job was at a classical music radio station in Seattle, where I had the opportunity to use art to enhance the station's on-air product and branding efforts. My illustration of Beethoven for Public Radio Music Month was shared widely on Facebook and featured on NPR's music blog this past Spring. I also wrote commercial and promotional copy, contributed to web content, massaged social media, did event appearances, and interviewed a range of music artists and writers - Yefim Bronfman, Pinchas Zukerman, Gerard Schwarz, Vladimir Spivakov, Joshua Bell, Leif Ove Andsnes, Renee Fleming, Martin Amis, Richard Ford, and others. Other radio skills include talk show hosting, production, audio editing, interviewing, writing and blogging. As a voice talent I was the exclusive voice of Dosha Salon Spa in Portland, Oregon, and I have extensive experience doing on-hold messaging for a range of nationwide clients. I'm conversant in social media and promotional strategy for radio marketing. I played a role in tripling Facebook reach over a 24-month period for my last employer. I'm a writer whose commercial and promotional copy is conversational, relatable, and a bit sassy.

Versatile, insightful - and fun to read! That's the sort of writing I specialise* in, and I've written for a very wide range of clients. And look closely, because a wry sense of humour* is never far from the surface. For example - • My unconventional presentation of marketing strategy (questioning the very marketing process itself) lead to a local resurgence of interest in an under-used railway* line in the north of England. Its services are now firmly back on track! • My sleeve notes for CD music compilations, intimately researched and presented in a contemporary - and very entertaining - manner, bring overlooked and little-known tracks to the attention of industry movers and shakers. • My travel brochures, enticing cyclists onto iconic country rambles, visiting rustic rural pubs in the delightful English countryside. And their winter equivalent, guiding pedestrians through some of the ugliest urban boozers you could possibly imagine. • On a serious note, my appraisal of the shortcomings of regional broadcasting in England contributed to an extensive review by the BBC of how it addresses the needs of its audiences outside London. The Northern Task Force was formed as a result, and its work led to the multi-million pound BBC North initiative in the north west of England. • and Blogs. From recruiting potential trustees for the National Gasometer Collection to informing residents of the benefits of having a 60-metre electricity pylon installed in their back garden, if you want to catch people of the wrong foot, let me know. I've won international awards at this sort of stuff: a Gold Award for best Marketing video in London - and a Silver Award in Los Angeles on one project alone. I've launched the careers of some of the UK's favourite* TV stars and have worked extensively in promoting movies and TV programmes* for many years. My professional background is across international film and broadcast media - so let me use my skills and talents for YOU! *Oh - and I know when to spell specialize, humor, railroad, favorite and program too!

Greetings, my name is St. John Kakegamic and I’m a Graphic Designer. All my life I have grown in a woodland community up north of Ontario called Sandy Lake First Nation. It’s small and remote but its home. With that said, why did I pursue a career in Graphic Design? I love the environment that Art & Design has to offer to the community; the collaboration that design can play as a role to influence something bigger. Currently, I have completed my program at Humber College and ready to get into the creative industry. My strengths as a designer would be my illustrations. I have been drawing since when I was a little boy and attending the Graphic Design program, it made me able to work on paper and on the computer. "Lets get together and create something great!"
I am a highly ambitious and motivated media professional with over six years extensive experience, producing quality content across a wide range of production formats and genres (audio, animation, video, and web) for high-profile organisations throughout Ireland and the UK.
