My goal is to design systems that complement their existing work flow. One of my strengths is my ability to examine an existing system and identify ways to make the processes more user friendly. I also enjoy the area of graphic design so one of my strengths is designing an application interface attractive, clean and easy to navigate. I realize the importance of data entry and place a lot of emphasis on form designing. I use drop down boxes to force data integrity and look for ways that the program can automatically fill in fields. Another one of my strengths is taking an existing Excel worksheet and converting it into an Access Database. Over the last 2 years, I have used this strength to develop databases to track employee training, labor report data (Kronos/ e-time), quality and safety incidents, and accounts payable.
