Hi all. I'm a native italian pro speaker since 1993. I can do professional voiceovers in italian and deliver them in 24hrs, if needed. I have my own recording studio. I am also a radio consultant for those stations that need a re-positioning strategy. I am a pro journalist also, since 2006, specialized in theatre, cinema, culture. Call me if you need voiceover jobs, or if you have a radio station and need help with new strategies.
I've been programming professionally for more than ten years. In that time I've worked with C, Java, Pascal, C++, Common Lisp, Perl, PHP, and Python, and built web applications in both Perl and PHP on top of MySQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL backends. I've also built servers from the ground up - my distro of choice is Ubuntu Server these days, but I've built Red Hat, Fedora, Debian, Gentoo, and even installed Linux from scratch once. Basically, if it needs doing, I can do it, and I'll do it better than anyone else you can find. If I can't, I won't take the job.
I started my career at Sirius Satellite Radio where I voiced promo's and on-air spots. After Sirius, I went to Entercom Boston and was an in-house VO talent for WEEI the Red Sox Radio Network, WAAF and WRKO. I also was an on-air talent on the night show. After Entercom, I went to The Boston Globe where I am the Imaging Voice for their radio station, Radio BDC. I also voiced some TV commercials for The Globe. I have now moved home to New York and have a studio in my apartment. I love VO and would invite the opportunity to discuss your project! I am constantly working on my craft and study privately with Joan Bogden, Peter Rofe, and Dorianne Elliot.
I have over 30 years of broadcast and acting experience. After many successful years as an on-air talent, Production Director, Program Director and Account Executive in the Radio and Television business, I started an advertising agency to better serve clients with a full range of multimedia services including media planning, media buying, copywriting, audio-video production and special event marketing. In 2003, I started building my Voice Over business and providing clients with everything they need from concept, to copywriting to full-blown audio-video production projects. I take pride in providing clients with high-end quality work that's delivered in a timely manner because time IS money! If you are looking for a business minded talent with an energetic, compassionate, strong, hard-soft delivery, authoritative, warm, comedic delivery in various characters OR the "guy next door" who ask to borrow the rake or three eggs to bake a cake type of delivery ... I'M YOU'RE GUY! Please give me an opportunity to earn your trust and your business. You will see that I can bring MUCH MORE to the table than just my voice to help you grow your business OR in getting your message to the Market Place. I'll gladly do a phone patch session to work through the project with you on the line if that's what you prefer - I am genuinely interested in making sure your project gets done right the first time. Willing to do a paid "test project" to demonstrate my capabilities. I look forward to working with you. Sincerely, James C. Minter www.JamesMinterVO.com www.BuckeyeMediaServices.com
