Reading and watching documentaries are hobbies. Been awarded a certificate of merit as ‘Most Outstanding in Literary English’ from my high school graduating class (1974) from university, drawn from high average marks in English literature and composition, one year as Features Editor of high school organ, and as first placer in an on-the-spot literary contest in poetry and short story. Early in college, did a book review on Feodor Dostoyevski’s ‘Brothers Karamazov.’ From this background of interests and hobbies and my past work experience, I can wear many hats. As creative writer, article writer, and researcher - I can do essays, short stories, and poetry; also blogging and web-content. I can deliver fast and accurate results as a data encoder. I am very familiar with spreadsheet utilization with excel. As teacher and trainer – I can teach English as a Second Language (ESL) online to foreign students, preferably university students and professionals. I teach catechesis in a public school and in a parish-base setting. I am also an experienced trainer and public speaker. I have experience in training new hires in product knowledge, including soft skills (as selling techniques, coaching and counseling, presentation skills, etc.). I have crafted training modules and am well versed in power point presentations. I also manage events and conferences. As Marketing Manager - I can do business plans, brand management, marketing strategies and tactics, market profiling, segmentation, and analysis. My experience in pharmaceuticals enabled me to do medical-writing, research-writing, and business-writing. As a Sales Manager - I have had experience in recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and deployment. I do regular follow-throughs, readiness analysis, and performance evaluation or appraisal. My main functions in Sales were: quota-setting, program implementation, sales analysis, creating sales force effectiveness programs, and budget management, among others. I have produced a few company manuals on sales policies and procedures.  less

    I worked as a Collection Manager in a Media Company in Manila for 5 years. I transferred here in Baguio City to be with my father whom I was away for almost 15 years. He is still strong at the age of 74 and I want to have so many memorable times spent with him. I am a single mother with a 5 year old daughter. I also worked for Smart Communications, the leading telecommunications company here in my country for 10 years as a Call Center Supervisor. Having worked there for 10 years gave me a very strong tool for running a team, learned how to handle stress, multi-tasking works and how to deal with pressures.     Aside from being a Mgt. Trainee/Appraiser in a pawnshop company for a year, I've been exposed more on inventory of stocks and monitoring branch's compliance with the standards set by the company for I have been working as company internal auditor for 4 years. Through these experiences, I was able to developed the skills in communication as well as leadership especially during presentation of our reports. My ability of writing accurate reports was also improved as well as powerpoint point presentation. I further develop these skills through active participation in the program of Toastmasters International. I can type with a speed of 350wpm with 97% accuracy based on a speedtyping test. I love browsing on the internet and read articles/news than reading magazines so I spend more time in front of the internet and engage in social networking sites.  less
