I am a designer with a print and an interactive background, and because of these skills I have learned to act as a translator. I can translate "developer speak" into easily understood "marketing speak." I also can translate client objectives into beautiful visual communications. Having multiple areas of knowledge allows me to help clients achieve their goals as quickly and as easily as possible. I stay up-to-date on latest design trends, so that I may help my clients mush boundaries against their competition. I use a progressive enhancement strategy to improve the workflow of projects. The results are simple and usable designs. I also believe in strong brand identity, and I understand the importance of designing within guidelines, and I can help my client's create brand guidelines if necessary. I have strong expertise with interactive and graphic design. I believe in a mobile first approach focusing on usability when working with clients. I can create anything from logo designs and brochures, to digital ads, websites and mobile apps.
Not your ordinary oDesk designer. With professional experience in the Netherlands, Brazil, and the US, I have led creative teams on digital marketing, advertising and design projects for multinational accounts such as General Motors, VISA, McDonald's, T-Mobile, Lucas Film, AT&T, nVidia, and 20th Century Fox. My work has garnered worldwide recognition with many awards and accolades, including the prestigious Cannes Lions Cyber Grand Prix, and has been featured in Creativity Magazine as part of the best online advertising of the last 20 years. The Lost Ring, a recent project for McDonald’s, inspired Wired to coin the term “dark marketing”, had BrandWeek make it their Number One Bright Idea of the Year, and convinced New York MoMA to add it to their permanent collection. If you want something extraordinary, let's talk.
