I opened my own business,11-Eleven Electronic Publishing Services, in 2011, and have gained extensive experience designing and formatting both fiction and nonfiction books, designing covers, and preparing books for publish-on-demand printing through Amazon's CreateSpace. I take pride in what I do because I love to read, and helping authors publish their own work is a deeply rewarding experience for me. I believe in establishing a lasting relationship with my clients, so that even if we haven't had contact in quite some time, they feel comfortable getting in touch with me again if they ever have a question, or need advice or help. I do not do my work the lazy way and use automated software to perform file conversions like many low-cost formatters do. I put the time and attention into a project that it takes to produce high quality rather than racing through the job just because I'm familiar with the steps. I am careful and methodical, and I take the time to format an eBook right.
I like to create logos. And I like when my client is happy. Normally I start with several pencil mock ups and send them to the client to choose best. Then I make digital images of the sketches that employer likes. Then they choose again, and I prepare the end version. I work both in vector and raster graphics editors (Illustrator, CorelDraw, Photoshop).
