I've developed several enterprise Access solutions from customer specifications, converted and enhanced legacy systems, and written feature-rich, complex reports. Have you seen my Odesk test scores and reviews? Customers love working with me because I quickly understand their needs, and I speak to them in plain English instead of dazzling them with techno-babble. In my career I've linked MS Access to several ODBC back-ends, including health data systems, and of course every version of SQL. Shortly after Access 2007 was released, I was the first person to notify Microsoft of two bugs. I had to devise my own clever workaround until they released SP1. I look forward to speaking with you (from my U.S. landline telephone, or Skype...my name with a dot between) soon. Thanks, Jules

I started my career as C++ developer, then I moved to Visual Basic and SQL, but when things are getting serious you start to use a real database, so I learn PL/SQL and from there I moved to Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. Moving abroad was only the next natural step in my search for more interesting and challenging projects. I admit it, a girlfriend was a good reason too. I think I passed the test, if I still have no intention to come back to mamma. When I joined MicroStrategy I knew only that I enjoyed my time with the rudimentary BI tool I was using, I knew something more was out there. With my Oracle and programming background I started working on ETL and Data Modelling projects, but you don't do BI if you don't understand your customer's business. Finally a way to combine my job and my communication degree. In the last four year I have be travelling around the world working in different environments and having my part of fun doing it, and I was lucky enough to do it adding new experiences and skills to my curriculum. And a wife as well. And now? now I'm looking for the next step in my life.
In the past 11 years I was involved on various projects of size and complexity. Some of the mostly used technologies were: ASP Classic, VB 4-6, VBA, ASP.Net/VB.NET/C# (1.1-3.5), .Net Compact Framework 2, MSSQL 2k/2005/2008, Oracle (9g-10g), Informix, HTML, XML, CSS. I was also part of the architecture team and played an important role in project management. My motto is: "Everything can be programmed"
I have been designing, writing, implementing, and supporting quality software solutions for multiple decades. With extensive experience in many industries and "real world" working environments, I am able to provide the best in quality software design and development.
