I'm skilled with the variety of Python frameworks and libraries: wxPython (wxWidgets), Twisted, Scrapy, Django, Selenium, etc. If you're looking for a developer who can build for you: • crossplatform desktop application with native looking interface for every platform • crawler for data scraping from any website • middleware for integration of your informational system with any service through its API • API and asynchronous server-side software for your project you already found me, let's discuss our task. I'm using Linux as a platform for software development and deployment, therefore I have more experience with Linux and Open Source, then with Windows or Mac OS X.
Wilson P. Agency Contractor
Senior developer with more than 10 years of experience in development applications and designing complex architectural solutions with using the following programming languages and technologies: C, C++, C#, Java, .NET, SQL, XML, STL, MFC. For last four years I worked on complex applications for automotive. These applications are running under QNX operating system in a car head unit and they are required to work efficiently. The architecture of applications was well designed for asynchronous environment. I want to work in an ambitious, successful and innovative projects and oDesk looks like a perfect place for me to do it.
I am an experienced software developer with over 25 years of programming located in Russia. Also I skilled (over 8 years) in Linux programming/administration. My core competency is software architecture, data processing, low-level backends Can write program almost any programming language. I always do work with good quality and as soon as possible I guarantee support to rectify mistakes in the future after the completion of the project
I'm not as experienced as I'd wish to, so I'm ready to do rather simple tasks. Usually I learn quite fast, so after some small projects I'll change this overview to the best. :) I just want to be honest and realistic and don't want to deceive potential employer advertising myself too much. As for my humble set of skills, you can see first ten of them in corresponding section of my profile. Generally I'm C/C++ programmer preferring Linux OS. Python and Lua languages are interesting too. For last 15 years I worked in 2 companies and wrote software for their internal use, so all copyrights to code belong to them and I think it would be somewhat unethical to place the code here in portfolios. Also it should be noted that I have some experience in Linux system administration. I personally use Linux about 17 years and 8 of them I live in pure Linux (i.e. Windows™-free) Debian-based environment. So tasks related to Windows™ are very inconvinient, hard to complete and too time-consuming for me personally. By the way, I have no any copy of Windows™ and have no desire to spend my money to buy it. Besides, I have experience in microcontroller programming (TI MSP430 and Atmel ATTiny/ATMega). Partly I did such a work for one of my employers, partly it's one of my hobbies today. In conclusion I'd want to say that I prefer to complete my work perfectly and if I don't feel confident of my skils I'll rather decline very good offer than will do it second-rate.
