Having spent six years in London working as a Project Manager and Personal Assistant to the CEO of a well known-charity, I have the skills necessary to be a great Virtual Assistant (VA). I am organized and efficient, I can handle e-mails and customer service queries effectively and politely, I have an excellent telephone manner, I can touch-type and I am used to organizing files and information. Running the project in London on health and nutrition meant that there was a lot of information to organize, reports to write and budgets to handle, especially when we worked in partnership with the NHS.
I have experience of using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook and Google Docs.
I am also familiar with Wordpress and Weebly, and some very basic html.
An added bonus is that I have experience of article writing, list building, SEO and SMM, so if you need help with marketing I can also provide that.
As a VA I am reliable and responsive. I am able to work on my own initiative, however I can also take direction.
Currently I am looking for regular work, preferably several hours a week.
In terms of writing work I offer high quality, engaging writing with excellent English, grammar/spelling and an awareness of writing for SEO. I am competent at copywriting, having written copy for various websites including the ones on my profile, plus I am experienced at article writing and blogging. I have worked as a PA for a charity in London so I am organised and easily able to answer and deal with e-mails and customer queries.
I am used to making the optimum use of keywords whilst still focusing on writing for real people. I can write in a formal manner and also a friendlier, chatty tone, depending on the requirements of the project.
I am at my very best when I write about Personal Development, Health, Relationships and Travel, however I am flexible and able to write effectively on various topics. I have written two e-books, one on health and one on the topic of relationships. My background is in health and fitness so I enjoy writing about wellbeing. I do not write about weight loss products such as diet pills.
I am experienced with SEO, using Google+ and Social media marketing, having studied these areas and marketed several projects this way. I am able to use Wordpress and Weebly to create basic websites and write posts. I can advise on marketing and the use of Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Tumbler, Stumbleupon, Linked in, Mailchimp and Aweber to assist you with your marketing campaign. I can help you devise and deliver an effective marketing plan to reach your niche. Social media marketing and the use of pictures play a big role in effective SEO and marketing in 2014.
One of my current jobs on Odesk is writing blog articles for a well known self development blog as a ghost writer. I have my own blog about relationships and I've contributed many articles for various other websites and blogs including Datemypet and Zenspiration. This has helped me hone my creative writing skills. I am also happy to research and gather information where required. I have done review style articles and this is fine as long as the subject matter is interesting. I also contribute to several online forums and comment on blogs, meaning I know how to create a rapport with the reader.
