Creative, Experienced, Real World Graphic Design, Typography and Copywriting. Have you ever hired a graphic designer, only to have them come up with something so elaborate that you couldn't afford to print it? That is because they didn't understand the printing process or the capabilities and limitations of the equipment that you planned to produce it on. That is where I come in. I have spent my career in graphic design and possess a strong printing background. Don't get me wrong, I love to design the tricked out invitation or presentation with foil and embossing and spot varnishes and die cutting and gluing and lots of pantone and metallic inks - only problem, it is not in most budgets. Graphic design is about ideas, but it is also about details. I like to think that I am good at both. The greatest idea can fall flat if it is not properly executed - typography, spelling, use of photography, consistent branding... all are important to a successful project. As a designer, I had to learn that not every job is a masterpiece, that time is money and clients need to work within deadlines and cost constraints. So I learned to take my ego out of the job and adapt to customer needs. The first step in every job is to determine what it is that you need and then to create a compelling design that fits your parameters. I have spent many years in the advertising and printing fields. Both of these businesses gave me the opportunity to work with people in all types of industries - from small business to huge corporations, retail to manufacturing, service businesses to restaurants, tradesmen to professionals - I have designed for them all. So what are you looking for? Brochures, Flyers, Catalogs, Magazines, Books, Letterheads, Envelopes, Business Cards, Business Forms, Menus, Table Tents, Advertisements, Invitations, Door Knob Hangers, Packaging, Labels, Presentations, Annual Reports, Logo Design, Corporate Identity Packages - if it ends up as ink on paper I have done it and would be happy to create something for you - on time and on budget.

I currently work as a web designer for the one of the largest pro audio retailers in the country. I'm proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and jQuery with a significant amount of experience with PHP and Bootstrap. I focus a lot on User Interface (UI) design and optimizing the User Experience (UX). I work quickly and design/develop to the highest standards. I'm really easygoing and fun to work with and I'm not afraid to buckle down and things done. On top of all the web stuff I also do logo and branding design, t-shirt designs, photo editing and manipulation, and a bunch of other random design work. I'm not afraid to take on new things and I'm always willing to learn. I am also a big believer in "You get what you put into it" because this applies to all aspects of life. With freelance work if someone is asking $5/hour chances are you're going to get website that looks like you paid $5/hour. If I ask for $50/hour I am going to put in at least $100/hour worth of work and provide a result that more often than not reflects work worth more than $50/hour. I do not by any means try to take advantage of anybody. A big reason I do freelance work is because, well, I enjoy doing it. But at the same time, one's most valuable asset is their time, and I still need to be compensated for mine. Bottom line is — I will charge, after much consideration, what I feel would be a very fair price for both the client and myself.
Over the last 8 years, I have worked my way up through various positions within Graphic Design companies. I've developed many skills and had the opportunity to work with some major companies across the world. I focussed mainly on print related design, like posters, magazines, advertising and brochures. However, through my freelance work, I've been able to develop company branding and logo work for various businesses, which has also grown into website designs and email campaigns for many of my clients. I always strive to produce the very best design work for my clients, whatever their budget or deadline.

My experience with visual arts started with a passion for photography and photo manipulation, a trip that started 7 years ago. Since then, I cannot say that I find anything more rewarding and pleasant than spending countless hours in programs like Photoshop or Illustrator. I am self taught, although my 4 year working experience in the field has rounded the rough edges, and am a student in Communication and Public Relations. Creativity has always been my focus and drive through the hard work advertising, photography and design require. The only way I can envision the future is having the same passion and creative drive that I've always had. I think being successful means being the best at what I do and in the same time being the odd one out.
Over the last 8 years, I have been working as marketing manager, designer and translator. My main area of expertise is e-commerce. Over that time I've developed several large e-shops, ranging from outdoor gear to medical equipment sales. I also worked with various print and web design projects where I have accumulated large experience in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. I'm looking for challenging jobs and continuous projects, where I can put my skills to the test and gain new experience.
