For now I`m working in next fields of computers skills: design, documentation, construction, few programming and computer administrative.     I have been involved in procurement and sales in the manufacturing industry for roughly 10 years primarily in purchasing. I fell in love with VBA because of limitations of the tools provided at work. Quite often I find the tools provided are inefficient or not useful enough and I needed to find better, faster ways to get things done. Having a basic knowledge of VB I turned to VBA. In the last 6 years I have had a lot of experience writing code using VBA. I developed a little using VB.NET but for ease of distribution between coworkers, I soon converted those applications to VBA. I've written AS/400 automation tools, Excel tools such as a production planning/scheduling program with an Access backend, various automation tools with database backends and user forms for input that send emails with attachments or generate output files to be used for input to other systems. Many of the tools I've created in the office have become indispensable. Currently I'm in the early stages of developing a CRM/VRM system using VBA in Outlook that will either use an Access DB or if IT allows, an SQL server and also a multi user tool for tracking inbound overseas/rail shipments.  less

    I apply my knowledge of the wide range of IT technologies and processes I have encountered in my career to every new project that I am involved in. I have an innate ability quickly to see the most efficient solution to almost every problem that I encounter. I have saved my past employers both money and manpower with the solutions that I have created. I have worked as a programmer, systems analyst, a Windows/UNIX system administrator, app developer, database architect, process improver, mainframe maintainer, and general all around computer guy throughout my career. When I start a new project I put all of my attention and effort into it until the end because I feel that is the best way to serve my customers. I am always professional in my interactions with all my customers and associates. I have used MS Office to create numerous solutions to various issues in an enterprise environment. The most impactful are listed below. -Created a scheduling database to ensure that all mainframe jobs and other tasks were completed for daily batch and post-processing. This greatly cut down on errors and omissions that were done in the past. -Created a server and workstation application in MS Access for Dental Advisors to review disputed claims. This application worked with mainframe data extracts, an external pictures database, and an internal database. It also gathered input from two other departments. This brought the company in full compliance with regulatory and privacy obligations. -Created a billing database for Small Groups to ensure proper and accurate billing. This helped the company retain business and saved many man-hours of work monthly. -Created many macros for Word and Excel to help others automate repetitive tasks thereby improving efficiency in the workplace. I have created databases in Lotus Notes to store production history. This helped the company comply with legal historical requirements by putting the data in one repository. I designed and created a many-table database to hold mainframe data in order to streamline ad-hoc reporting. I wrote Cobol programs to extract the mainframe's VSAM data into multiple flat files for input into a DB2 database running on an AIX server . This allowed us to create new reports for Sales and others in hours instead of the company's standard of weeks. I was half of the team that was most likely the first VSE mainframe shop to run without a mainframe printer. We utilized a beta version of mainframe TCP/IP software to push reports to a network printer and/or PDF files for emailing. This greatly cut electricity and paper costs as well as an hour from the nightly batch.  less

    My name is Luca Maiello, I am a 24 years old translator from Montesarchio Italy. I have a lot of experience with the translation of technical documents from English to Italian and I've also worked as a Computer Hardware Technician which makes me a perfect candidate for the translation of IT related technical documents. I have translated complex documents like medical science research reports and several chapters of a construction engineering textbook. Recently, I have finished translating a 8000 words user manual for Impeto Medical and a Framework Agreement contract for Huawei, and I am trying to extend my services to more customers worldwide. I have gained a lot of experience during the past 5 years and I have improved quite a lot. Currently I can translate from 2200 up to 3000 words in 5-6 hours of work depending on the complexity of the content, working on technical documents has given me a lot of experience on how to convey the words contained in the original document while making sure that they are easy to read for the speakers of the target language and without altering the meaning of the source document in any way. My English is certified by the University of Cambridge ESOL examinations, I have obtained a FCE certificate with a grade A pass and a score of 91/100 which is equivalent to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
