First i am a proud nerd. In fact, an expert nerd. Additected to every new tecnologies and i have programmed everything from basic to c++ , including cobol, fortrand, pascal, lisp, prolog and of course HTML, java , php. My first program was when i was 12, i have programmed a database to manage all my games and books... in a 48k timex spectrum. So while my friends were actually trying to play games i was having fun with basic. At 18 i was doing a neural language AI application in prolog for high school. I was owner of computer companies and worked from architectural and machinery design in Autocad where i programed in Lisp to accelerate my work. My latest personal projects was the creation of a Telecom provider where i have solely developed the billing software and managed all the sites and linux servers. I am the CEO and owner of that company. So i became na expert on VoIP solutions , including asterisk where i have contributed with code changes. With that knowledge i have created and developed a new range of communication servers that today have the most advanced features i know, however having a simple , intuitive interface. Since these challenges are "done" and i need to have new projects to be happy, I am presently looking for new challenges and i have been playing with Android and its wonders. I also developed some Android applications on my own. Personally i am a workaholic. A proactive and self motivated person that in all projects i enter i give my 100%. I am a honest frontal person, i will allways contribute positivily with ideas in the projects i get involved. I am flexible and i work well under pressure, i sometimes make coworkers more nervous because i keep looking relaxed even when people are starting to panic. (this took years of training). So if you have an interesting project that is a challenge to me. I'm In!!

I have 11 years of hands-on experience in PHP and Ruby on Rails programming and web development related technologies, such as: XHTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, responsive design, jQuery, jQuery Mobile, Magento, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Laravel, Zend Framework, Code Igniter, Wordpress, Facebook API, Linux adminstration, Amazon Web Services. I have also dealt with Java, C# desktop applications development and Bash programming. I'm always looking for opportunities to learn something new. For the past year I've been discovering the impressive capabilities and unlimited possibilities of cloud computing, Amazon Web Services and high traffic websites optimization. This, of course, doesn't mean that I won't be glad to take part in simple "make me a website" projects ;) Please visit my portfolio, where I have described some of the projects that I've worked on over the past few years

Working on a wide range of web projects for over 5 years. Always looking for unique and outstanding solutions. The things I can implement are only limited to your imagination: a really wide range of tasks from basic things and layout up to complicated systems with drag-n-drop features etc.. No matter what you want: a blog, a newsline or a huge portal/service I can take care of it. Strong points: PHP5 with advanced OOP, framework development (from scratch), Security, MySQL, PostgreSQL. HTML/XHTML/CSS layouts. Advanced DOM and JS with AJAX, drag-n-drop etc. Also can deal with Perl and Linux administration (server and network administration)
Over the last 13 years I have continued to develop my career, skillset, knowledge and experience. I would like to be exposed to new and different challenges, that will further develop my skills and career. I look forward to the many varied opportunities and roles that oDesk offers.
I've spent the past decade honing my Linux administration skills, building web interfaces for services I run and developing utility software on OS X and iOS. I'm looking to build sensible, functional software and websites. My focus is on Go, Swift, Objective-C, PHP, HTML5 and JS with Linux, Apache, OpenVZ and Zimbra administration on the side.
