Based on my many years of professional experience, I am convinced, to be able to handle even the most demanding projects conscientiously. Of particular note are my knowledge in CMS Joomla, which I have known since it's infancy called Mambo. To mention responsive web design would be carrying coals to Newcastle. My also many years of experience as a programmer and system administrator complete my profile.

After seven years of making JSP/Oracle based applications for the financial industry I turned back to my original interest: making bespoke PHP based SEO ready websites for small businesses using my own CMS developed over the last twelve years. I always try to stay sharp, keeping an eye on and using the latest developments and recommendations of the industry leaders (HTML5, W3C and Google recommendations, etc). During the years I've learnt how web serving works from low level networking thru Linux to HTTP, I think I see fairly far beyond common PHP programming. Google's Android platform is also in the focus of my interest, I am developing small independent apps since Android 1.5.
Yo! I am based out of Philly and I love soft pretzels! Now that I have your attention, let me talk a little about my background. I have been professionally coding for five years, but have been at it as a hobby for much, much longer. I've worked for companies as in house developers, but for the last three years I have been freelancing. My specialty is PHP+MySQL and XML+XSL, but I do it all! No job is too big or small. The services I can provide you: Configuring a dedicated or shared server by installing LAMP and installing custom modules for Apache or PHP. PHP+MySQL Web applications from scratch, or by using an existing CMS. I am familiar with Wordpress, Drupal, Joomla, CodeIgniter, Zend, and many more. I am very good at going into existing web apps and extending them, even if the code base is a complete mess because of out-sourcing, lazy programmers, etc. Basic web pages including contact forms, newsletter sign-ups, etc. I do basic graphic design and work best with an existing layout. Whether it is doing heavy lifting in the backend or making the frontend pretty and usable, I enjoy working hard to help you get results. Other than freelancing, for the past six summers I have worked for the world's largest Tech Camp for kids age 7-18. I love teaching the next generation skills such as video game creation, graphic design, app programming, website programming and more! Every summer I teach at a different location; I have taught at: MIT, Villanova, Stanford, NYIT, Princeton, Yale and other college/universities. I can't wait to hear from you!
