"Develop cutting-edge websites" was always my motto. I’m senior front-end developer with more then 7 years of creating cutting-edge websites. My main fields of expertise are HTML5, SASS/CSS3 and Responsive Web Design (RWD). I create only high quality websites that are cross-browser compatible. Code structure is clean and semantically well written, so it can be implemented into any popular CMS systems like WordPress, Joomla, Drupal. During many years of active development I had chances to work with Ruby, Python, PHP, AngularJS developers so I’m familiar with those programming languages and frameworks.
I have been working as a software developer over the past ten years, the last seven years from which I devoted to Python. Specifically I mastered my skills in creating user-friendly and intuitive UIs - connecting the UI layer with the DB and displaying the data to the user (MVC pattern), client-server communication and some back end development. Moreover I can solve a wide range of different programming problems - given the flexibility and adaptability of Python. I have spent years in the fields of mathematics and programming constantly learning and I improving my abilities. Many things changed during these years - technologies, teams, etc. But some things never change as they say. As my firm desire to make the machine do exactly what I want it to do - better and better. I want to enable people to use quality software making their life easier.
I Started learning website development in 1999 in my spare time as the field changes so fast and so often I figured it would be pointless going to University learning a skill that would have changed 4 years later which is what happened with a lot of website developers. I find it much easier to teach myself rather than learn from others and I'm always learning new skill sets and perfecting my skills and habits when it comes to coding. Before I started working full time for online marketing company Surf Pacific as a developer and support, I was a freelance developer and have worked on many other websites and with other companies like Kitten D'Amour (sex kitten) which is a clothing boutique and now has a large online presence which is where I picked up Magento. My preferred eCommerce system is Prestashop and Opencart. I work heavily in the field of wordpress development which is a system I would recommend to anyone looking to get a website built that is not for eCommerce and easy to update themselves without having any knowledge with websites. I have also set up many Dedicated and Virtual servers for the use of hosting web and mail servers. I have experience with DNS editing also which comes into play with the domain side of things. You can take a look at my work here http://www.michaelmano.com I have many articles about how things work as I know similar articles helped me when I was younger. I look forward to hearing from you.
