I'm an experienced mobile developer, iOS and Android; Top Rated oDesk freelancer. I've been working with software development since 2003, in a broad variety of software projects, platforms and languages: firmware, mobile and embedded software, enterprise distributed systems and web applications. I have a strong Software Engineering background, having worked on projects of different sizes, stages and performing different roles across software development, from architecture design and requirements analysis to programming and bug fixing. For the past few years, I've been working with mobile and embedded software, currently mainly iOS and Android.
Software developer for more than ten years. Started my first iOS application back when iOS SDK was introduced. Since then I had explored plenty of dark corners of iOS ecosystem and this really helps me to pick the right tool for the job. I am self-motivated agile worker. Always friendly and proactive in communications which makes me a good team member/leader. I have extended experience with following technologies: Apple native frameworks - from UIKit/Autiolayout and CoreData down to OpenGL, CoreAudio and Accelerate.framework Ad-Hoc app distribution - Testflight, HockeyApp, ; In-House app distribution Project management - JIRA, RedMine Continious integration - TeamCity, Jenkins My code contains best practices, always clean, self-documented, editable, localized and synchronized. Most of UI is in storyboard. I can use any VCS, but git is my favourite one. My experience is not limited by C / Objective-C / Objective-C++ / Swift. I have experience in backend development so it is not secret "where it all comes from" or how to report a bug. oDesk officially recognises me as one of the best mobile developers for the projects I have worked on, my work history and communication skills.
Project-oriented technician in a few fields of expertise: * data analysis: various data processing using few programming languages - Python, R, Wolfram Mathematica, Matlab; * typesetter: bibliography support, complex imagery, complex, multi-line equations and interprocessing data in both LaTeX and MS Word; * software developing: desktop software developing and a distinct programms to get and operate on different data; science software to model asorted physics and math models. I have strong background in UNIX/Linux software development, Master's Degree in Computer Science. I worked on Enterprise high-load distributed hosting automation systems as a Team Leader (3.5 years in SWsoft, Inc., now called Parallels). For the last 6 years I'm running my own small software development business in Russia with primary focus on Python/Django apps. Not pure Web but often involving integration with hardware (Proximity Cards, Sensor Screens) or external systems like Payment Processing, SMS Gateways, GABRIEL (Airline Reservation System), etc. I can take an idea and turn it into a working business, through all the intermediate stages. Also I have experience of investing my own funds in my projects, so I feel the difference between "perfect code" in a month and "good enough" code that increases the revenue right now. Nevertheless, my code is very good: no copy-paste, always written with performance, flexibility and security in mind, etc. On oDesk I'm looking for (and actually find :) interesting projects with a sight on long-term fruitful cooperation. I'm also open to smaller activities (e.g., consulting) where my knowledge can be helpful.
