My career goals is to serve your website needs. My view is that website development is three parts - design, development and management. I am willing to do all three of those things for you in a friendly and communicative manner. I taught myself how to program at the age of 13, and taught myself web development during college while working one of the three jobs I had at the time. All my jobs since college have been web development gigs. I do this work because I love it! My portfolio is a bit small because most of my gigs have been corporate business-to-business jobs and are signed away on NDAs. However, I assure you I am professional, top notch, and will do my best to get you the best website that you want.

We are a team of two (one developer/product guy, one artist) highly talented individuals who each has years of experience working in the casual gaming industry. We have created successful titles for the iOS, Android, and Facebook canvas platforms. We specialize in designing, building and maintaining top quality cross-platform casual/social games. Each of us was educated at top US institutions (Stanford University, The Art Institute). Currently the team resides in Pasadena, California. We believe that there are four contributing factors to the success of a game: 1. Fun - the game is engaging, and is capable of getting players addicted so they come back to play repeatedly. 2. Distribution - in today's competitive market, it is important to leverage all viral channels available to have as much free distribution as possible (examples include Facebook requests, sharing, open graph stories, Twitter sharing, etc.) 3. Cross Platform - if you only have an iOS app, then 70% of all Facebook app invites sent out by your players will never be seen, because Facebook will not display these requests to users who are not on an iOS device. To have the most distribution power, it is important for your app to be available on both iOS and Android. Even better, have it available on Facebook canvas as well for players who play on their computers. 4. Monetization - simply placing virtual goods in a game does not mean that they will sell. It is essential to have compelling mechanics that make players really want to buy. We are experts in all of the above. You should not choose a developer who is not able to take care of all of the points above, as they are essential to the success of any game in today's markets. Furthermore, we will stay on with your project for at least one month post launch for maintenance and operational support. Choosing us for your app development needs is the correct thing to do. As a Computer Science graduate from Stetson University, Florida's oldest private university, I am equipped with a full understanding of both the theoretical and the practical aspects of computer programming. During my four year career at Stetson, I worked primarily in Java, and have learned the ins and outs of effective Java design and development. Additionally, my education has provided me with hands-on experience with many current and past technologies. I have also acquired valuable skills with my previous employment with Visible.NET. While working there, I used a Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP based implementation to develop web-based Search Engine Optimization tools. Additionally, I employed extensive use AJAX programming to create real-time client/server communication from within the web browser, and used and maintained projects using the Subversion version control system . Additional responsibilities included basic Apache server maintenance, troubleshooting Linux server problems, and configuring web services. I was employed at Dexter + Chaney, Inc as a PROIV programmer. I wrote, tested and debugged construction company financial management software in PROIV, and wrote and analyzed MS-SQL database queries. I was also in charge of finding bugs in the PROIV language and IDE, and isolating and documenting them. After working at Dexter + Chaney for a short period of time, I found an opportunity to advance my career with a position that both had better compensation and provided experience that is more useful in the industry. I took a job at MediaNet, as a Software Engineer writing applications and scripts for services in the Internet music industry. There, I developed and maintained back-end music related applications in Java, developed and maintained Oracle SQL databases including designing schema, optimizing queries, and tuning settings and also maintained Linux servers. My experience with MediaNet lead me to explore the systems administration realm. I took a job at Blue Box Group, Inc. There, I worked directly to provide support for customers on a Linux / nginx / Ruby / MySQL stack. Many of our clients had virtualized hosting, so I also spent a large amount of time configuring OpenVZ containers. Additionally, I performed basic networking maintenance. I am currently looking for short term contract work, part time work in the San Francisco Bay area, and am particularly interested in work where I can telecommute for a majority of it.
