As a medical field technical writer, I have written Standard Operating Procedures, User Reference documents, various handbooks, manuals, memos, and newsletters, as well as a variety of e-learning courses. I am comfortable using a variety of programs to handle these tasks- Microsoft Office Suite 2007 and 2010, various Adobe programs, and Lectora course development software.
I also hold a Masters in Training and Performance Improvement, so I am extremely interested in opportunities to utilize writing for various e-learning projects, such as assisting in the development and writing of content for courses, developing needs assessments, surveys, curriculum development, and any performance and training related projects. In addition, I am working on a PhD program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, so am available for assistance with multicultural/international team building and development, cross-cultural communication, diversity, and performance assessment development as well.
In the past several years, I have written courses and documentation for training workshops delivered internationally for non-native English speakers, and have facilitated courses in public speaking, cross-cultural communication, and team building. I have had an opportunity to develop and continue to improve an international workshop through project management, excellent leadership skills, and global understanding.
My current work is primarily internal consulting/training delivery/instructional design where I can utilize my ten years of experience in areas of performance assessment, instructional design, and training facilitation. I look forward to using these skills in any way that I can to assist organizations on oDesk.
