Over the last 14 years I have produced 30 eLearning courses, authored 15,000 pages of telecommunications user manuals (print and help), and designed the information architecture for 6 telecommunications firms technical publications and learning environments including converting classroom led training into eLearning, virtual classroom, and virtual lab/simulations. I also designed and ran a 3 implementations of single sourcing authoring for user manuals and training using DITA 1.2 XML. I have also participated and designed information architectures for intranets primarily in the SharePoint 2007/2010/O365 environment. I am conversant in creating ontologies/taxonomies for metadata management and converting these into information models and operationalizing the ontology into content. For the purpose of developing 4 new information development tools, I have participated in the gathering of user requirements/task analysis, created software design mockups and use cases, and providing testing and design feedback to the developers. I also designed the information development environment for technical publications for these 4 software products. As a university lecturer in military history and politics, I have taught over 1500 students, edited at least 3,000 papers and designed 2 courses.
