Experience in the game industry of 8 years, finished AAA projects are:

Participation in development of animation system of a game engine.

My main circle of tasks
Discussion and planning of the project together with leads of other departments (programmers, 3D modellers, artists, game-designers).
Participation in development of animation system of a engine together with programmers. The offers of improvements and new mechanisms, discussion of defects, identification of bugs, the offers on reworking, testing and feedback on new features.
-creation and adjustment of the facial control rig of the character;
-creation manually of phonemes for the automatic speech and animations of emotions for a face of the character.
Facial motion capture:
-cleaning motion capture data;
-connection on the character;
Preparation of 3D models of characters for animation:
-skin weights adjustment;
-creation and adjustment of the control rig in MotionBuilder.
Creation of manual animations for characters in MotionBuilder.
Setting up of motion capture equipment and carrying out motion capture sessions, with involvement of actors.
Processing received motion capture animations:
-primary cleaning and processing of marker animation;
-transfer of marker animation on a standard skeleton of MotionBuilder;
-transfer on the character and a finalization of animations on the character (final adjustment, cycling, animations of fingers, interaction with subjects, etc.).
Creation of auxiliary bones on hands of the character and their animation for interaction with subjects in a cursor.
Creation of manual animations for animals and monsters.
Export of the finalized animations for use in game engine.
Connection of exported animations in to the game engine:
-adjustment of configuration files;
-testing in game;
-completion if it is necessary.
Planning, maintaining and check of the outsourcing with animations.
The solution of ALL arising problems, questions and the requirements connected with animations in the project.
