My project management career started in 2004 and since then I have managed projects for start-up companies and small to medium size businesses. I am seeking opportunities to deliver quality and income generating projects and help improve business systems and processes. I only accept 3 projects at a time to ensure focus and quality of work. Some of my duties as an agile project manager is to be in touch with the clients at all times to be able to give directions and critique the job done by the workers. I take part in planning for the project, figuring out how much the project is going to cost, and where they will get the materials needed. I assess what kind of work needs to be done, how long the project will take, and what resources they will be needing for the project’s completion. I divide the group into teams, distribute work and explain the project accordingly. As an agile project manager I am the prime decision maker and perform quality control at the same time. I see to it that all tasks are met and in the time frame that was given without having to add to the cost the client has to shell out. I also fix problems that may arise in the process. Unfortunately, there were 1-2 on-going projects that were severely affected. I honestly admitted it to my clients and decided to leave the projects to take care of our business. After a year, the business went very well so I let my wife manage it for me to go back to what I always love doing. I started doing project management again here in oDesk last December 2014. Lastly, my job success score is at 47% as of this writing, please consider that there are several factors that can affect the scoring such as client did not bother to leave a feedback or client chose the option “Job was not completed successfully” which in fact they are the one who pulled-out the project due to budget constraints, change of business direction, etc. Hence, please consider going through the actual client feedbacks that gave me 4.73 STAR RATING for almost 8 years here in oDesk.
