When I was studying, I'd been the class President in our class for the last two semesters~ I learned how to be a leader, a team player and a follower. I learned a lot from my Computer Science degree such as C++, Visual Basic, Oracle, Cisco, Solaris, HTML, and Java programming Languages : but still I want to learn more.. For HTML, we were asked to create a website using Notepad with about 15 pages having links, video and audio. With Visual Basic, we also created (our team) an inventory system and MS access as our repository. During our System Development project, I was assigned to be for Coding team and I also assisted with analyzing what do we needed and not needed for our system. So our team was assigned to connect NETBEANS + ORACLE , and oracle serve as our repository. I also experienced to do a system all by myself using Netbeans with MS ACCESS during my On the job Training. But I am still developing it, and I am still seeking more experience to gain more knowledge so I will finish developing this program. I never want to dissatisfied my client, since I believe that they deserve more than what they paid for. I enjoy learning new things Jo-An V.

LinkedIn http://www.linkedin.com/in/jmdots Summary I've worked in technical administration, technical support, customer service or leadership roles for all but a few months of my adult life. In this time, I climbed the ranks of a highly-modern, lightning-paced, large-scale, multi-OS supercomputing environment in Area B of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and became an avid user of all things open source. The place which was my professional home of over six years is known as the “Air Force Research Laboratory DoD Supercomputing Resource Center” or "AFRL DSRC" for short. The AFRL DSRC environment is home to the #19 supercomputer on the June 2011 Top500 Supercomputer List, a mammoth computer for which I received training: Cray Inc.'s "Raptor" XE6. Expert Linux Administrator and Perl Scripter with...

United States - Last active: 09/20/2013 - Tests: 7

I have spent the last 20 years working with Linux and Unix servers in a system administration capacity, since I first discovered Linux in 1993 to the present. I have worked in academic, ISP, and large enterprise environments. I am familiar with administering all basic internet services such as DNS (BIND), e-mail (sendmail, postfix, qmail), FTP (various servers), and web servers (primarily apache). In my capacity of system administrator over the last 20 years I have also become an expert at Perl and shell scripting, from automating small jobs to creating more complex integrations between other tools. I am highly regarded by my peers that I have worked with, for learning new environments quickly, being able to implement anything in Perl, knowing obscure tricks in Linux, etc. If your need touches any of those things, I can help you and help you quickly.
