I've used to work for Oracle Inc. creating the Java Development Kit and I'm have made more commits to the JDK9 project than anybody else. My main focus was to deliver Java port for Mac OS X, so I have great experience both with Java and with Objective-C. I've been an intern in Howard Hughes Medical Institute in USA, making math and predictive models for the neuroscience institution. I have 2 higher degrees: master in Computer Science and bachelor in Economics, both finished with the highest possible grade. A while ago I've lost satisfaction with the job at Oracle and decided to become a freelancer. My aim here is to find interesting tasks and solve them.

I am am Electronic Engineer good at IT. I worked as tutor in Maths, Informatics and English, but also worked in restaurants as waiter and as cook. From missile defense systems (AMDWS) to simple LAMP driven web applications for over 10 years I have been working in the Open Source arena with a focus on Linux Systems and some Unix Based Systems (Solaris 10, FreeBSD). I have packaged for multiple Linux distributions, primarily RPM based, but do have some deb experience. For a brief period of time I ran my own Linux Distribution (Synergy Linux) to make in house servers easier to strip down and maintain for various pin point tasks (ie. NTP servers etc.) I am familiar with mock, koji and other Redhat distribution based imaging systems. I have had to edit and write with multiple scripting languages, bash, ruby (selenium), python, perl and even modified C and C++ patches to apply cleanly to new packages. I like a good challenge and to continue pushing myself to learn something new. I currently am working for a great employer as a Linux and Cisco Unified Call Manager Administrator, but I am in what I like to call maintenance mode. So I am looking for challenging side jobs to do in order to keep me on the cutting edge of opensource technologies. Also I don't mind doing remedial jobs just to earn a few extra dollars to further support my family. Depending on what other jobs I am currently doing I may be looking for a Linux support role, or just simply a data entry role I can write a script for. In either scenario I am excited to network and meet new people. Thank you for your consideration (and time in reading this). Kind Regards, Jeremiah
