Upon my graduation with a Sociology B.A. from Binghamton University in 2005, there are few areas of writing experience in which I have dealt. I contributed to AllAboutJazz.com, the biggest website for Jazz music on the internet between 2006-2010. I used my enormous passion and knowledge of Jazz music to write album and video reviews. In 2002 I was afforded the opportunity to interview the legendary guitarist Pat Metheny, which later was published to an Italian website. Additionally, I main acquaintances through Facebook with several big name Jazz musicians. I have assisted Professor Dr. Yoshie Yanagihara at the University of Tokyo, Todai in Japan with rewriting, editing and consulting on English language drafts. I have performed these tasks from my home in New York. Dr. Yanagihara works in the field of Sociology and bioethics, specifically in the area of Artificial Insemination Donation (AID). I have received a coordinator credit in the Japanese subtitled version of the documentary "Eggsploitation" (currently screening across Japan) as a result of my efforts editing the English meanings of colloquial vocabulary. Additionally, I proofread and enhanced English language drafts to the organization which produced the film. I also proofread the English language documents among native Japanese speakers in our non profit committee for the project. Working with Dr. Yanigihara has given me insight into how focused, professional and concise documents have to be when dealing with major topics and organizations. The continued experience has served me well in enhancing my understanding of the English Language as a native speaker. My current duty as jazz writer and content creator for the New York Jazz Workshop School of Music blog has raised their stock considerably. Utilizing my passion for the music I have interviewed major names in the jazz, and education field. I increased SEO using operative keywords related to content to bring traffic to the site, promoted and marketed my content through social media channels. My enthusiasme has brought additional traffic to their site as well. Overall, if you hire me you can be assured you will have professional and clean written documents in a timely manner, and my experience has demonstrated this.
