Portfolio Website: www.charliepiazza.com Designs are like puzzles. Every design starts out as pieces of information, whether it’s a style guide, specific visuals or overall feel, that ultimately need to work cohesively to bring an idea to life. I have always enjoyed taking those pieces and finding the best way to translate someones needs into a physical experience. My goal is to convert your vision into a successful and appropriate design. After getting my degree at Syracuse University, I started as associate art director at Next Magazine in New York City. Within a couple years, I was promoted to art director where I was responsible for a complete rebranding. I spearheaded a new logo design as well as a complete redesign of the publication from cover to cover. That experience allowed me to take my talent to Condé Nast as a production designer. Throughout this process, my freelance clients became too important to me and I chose to devote all my time to them. Quality design is the difference between having your message be noise and clutter or have it break through. It’s about authenticity and understanding how all those pieces interact to create something meaningful and memorable. Let’s bring your vision to life…together!
Not your ordinary oDesk designer. With professional experience in the Netherlands, Brazil, and the US, I have led creative teams on digital marketing, advertising and design projects for multinational accounts such as General Motors, VISA, McDonald's, T-Mobile, Lucas Film, AT&T, nVidia, and 20th Century Fox. My work has garnered worldwide recognition with many awards and accolades, including the prestigious Cannes Lions Cyber Grand Prix, and has been featured in Creativity Magazine as part of the best online advertising of the last 20 years. The Lost Ring, a recent project for McDonald’s, inspired Wired to coin the term “dark marketing”, had BrandWeek make it their Number One Bright Idea of the Year, and convinced New York MoMA to add it to their permanent collection. If you want something extraordinary, let's talk.

Great advertising happens when strategic storytelling is communicated through the use of clever copy and effective visuals to create brand personality and identity within society. My name is Mary Seale, and great advertising is what I create. My design and communications theory is simple: Be effective, Be creative, and Be daring. All my communications pieces are based off research and executed with design and copy that is fresh, creative, and daring.
