I completed my BSc in Biomedical science at Cardiff University, graduating in 2010. I went on to obtain a MRC capacity building studentship in stem cell research and stayed at Cardiff University to undertake a PhD in stem cell research and cartilage regeneration, under the supervision of Prof Charles Archer and Dr Ilyas Khan. During my PhD I completed the training modules of the Mres course and later went on to help with the teaching of the advanced statistics for subsequent years, expanding my experience with the 'R' statistical packages. I have been extensively involved in the teaching and demonstrating the 'R' statistical analysis course for Mres students and PhD students at Cardiff University It has given me valuable experience in teaching students and modifying teaching methods to suit individuals. I currently work as a Project manager for SciTech innovation programs in business and innovation at the NEF. I led on the development of a number of STEM strategies that have helped organisations to reposition and differentiate their offers. I currently hold an honorary post doctoral research associate position at Swansea University, contributing to plastics and orthopaedic research and medical innovation.

15+ years experience of achieving business results through actionable analysis working for financial services, marketing services, research, and employment services companies. I offer a variety of analytics services, specializing in customizations of Google Analytics and data analysis / predictive modeling with R. I am a sole practitioner based in the US (east coast) and am available for short-term or part-time projects.
I'm an overachieving business-savvy data magician and a natural problem solver. In my free time, I code and analyse stuff. Why not do it for you? I have been a Business Consultant / Efficiency Advisor for the last 5 years, a job that I "augmented" with analytics and programming as often as humanly possible. This has led me to start my own consulting firm. I mostly use Excel 2013 (w/ VBA and PowerTools) and Python. Alternates are R and Tableau... or pretty much anything else that can be learned. My current projects focus on Data Science in general (elm.bi and datafra.me).
