Since graduating from the University of Washington I’ve worked in the industry as a software developer for the last seven years. I’ve worked on a large array of individual and group projects in a variety of roles. The majority of my past projects have revolved around a very large Java based SAAS application using Servlets/JSPs, Oracle SQL, HTML, CSS, etc. I’ve also spent some time developing interactive visualizations in Raphael.js for the web and OpenGL/Core Graphics for iOS apps. I’ve built several iOS apps, two in-house enterprise distribution style and three for the App Store, using Xamarin.iOS and RubyMotion. I’ve spent the last year and half or so working exclusively on a Ruby on Rails based web application. I love learning new programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.

Please check out codelyfe.com for my full portfolio and skill set. I've created Google like search engines and enterprise service bus. On the same note, I'm able to create throw away prototypes and advertisement campaigns sites in a week. I've worked with several Fortune 500 companies and countless small businesses.
I am a software engineer with more than 10 years of experience in web development. I've been working with PHP in the backend for 7 years. I am a WordPress expert, but in the last two years I worked essentially with Node.js. In the frontend, I am a Backbone.js expert and last year I have worked with React.js mainly.
I am a software engineer who currently works full time at a tech company that collects data for our customers and creates meaning from that data through the use of highly customized data visualizations. I work on the full technology stack, which requires extensive use of multiple databases (Redis, Google big query, MySql) as well as front-end frameworks (Angular, Raphael, HighCharts). Between those two ends of the spectrum, I spend a good portion of my time developing our API and creating our data visualizations from scratch. As I do work full time, I'd be the ideal candidate for specific, relatively small scoped things that you need done - by that I mean if you need a custom data visualization (or two, or three, etc.) done that you can just drop into your site, then I'm a perfect fit for you. If you're looking for someone to build you an amazing landing-page or specific interaction, that'd also be perfect for me. If you're looking for someone to build a comprehensive e-commerce site from scratch, I'm probably not a good fit for you. Lastly, feel free to reach out to me - As I'm doing this mostly for fun/enjoyment/honing my skills (I already have a full time job as a software engineer), I'll be honest about whether I think I'm a good fit for your project
I invest heavily in the beginning of the design process. I relentlessly ask individuals for their input. I am sure to include all relevant individuals when making decisions regarding projects that affect them. And I do not discount the wealth of knowledge that can be gained from others outside of my immediate domain.I have learned a great deal from members of other functional groups. Asking the right questions and paying careful attention to the needs of the individual have lead me to discover important details essential to the success of a project.
