In my QA career, last five years, I have been working on various system platform and operating system. I have tested application developed in different program including web-based application as well as client server application. As a QA person, I have written Test Plan, Test Cases, attended walk-through meeting with the Business Analyst, Project Manager, Business Manager and QA Lead. Attended requirement review meeting and provided feedback to the Business Analyst. I have worked in different databases and wrote SQL queries to retrieve data from the database. As far as different types of testing are concerned, I have performed Smoke Testing, Functional Testing, Backend Testing, BlackBox Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) Testing. I have written defects as they are found using Quality Centre. Once the defects were fixed, retested them and if it passed, closed them. If the defects were not fixed, I reopened them. I have also attended the defect assessment meetings as necessary. In the meantime, a continuous interaction with developers was necessary.

Highly experienced technical manager, with programming skills a bonus! Most recently I have been working with clients to build web applications using R, the statistical programming language, and the Shiny web application framework. Data analysis and presentation is a passion. Prior to this, for three years I owned and ran a television post-production company located in central London. We made a lot of fantastic programmes, using the latest technology. I was ultimately responsible for the entire business operations, managing 15 staff and multi-million Pound budgets. Nine years at BBC Worldwide, developing strategies and implementing large software projects, to digitise, store and digitally delivery their extensive back programme archive. Business analysis, software project management, product management and supplier relationship management all fell under my responsibilities at various times. Four years at eBay, in both Australia and the UK, during late 1999 and the early 2000s was a fantastic experience, being part of the product management team working to build the world's largest online marketplace. I have also obtained a Master of Business and Technology degree from the University of New South Wales, Australia.

I have 28 years experience in the corporate IT world. I hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I would like to get into software testing freelance and part time, as I am VERY good at finding issues in software and websites and I have some availability each day. I do have extensive experience with automated testing tools but am not interested in doing much of that at this time. My interest at this point in my career is simply manual testing, although I will use some tools to make me more productive at that endeavor.

More than 5 years in IT, including about 3 years as Project/Product Manager and a strong technical background as QA. My key areas of expertise are web and mobile. Experience as a Product Manager adds creativity to my style - I love bringing new and little bit crazy ideas to life to improve projects I'm working at. MVP, Product roadmap, Business Model Canvas and Lean Methodologies are not just simple words for me. Technical background gives me an ability to understand a project a bit deeper than regular PM, and I’m able to perform acceptance testing as well. Working for about 4 year using Agile methodology under different roles (QA, Scrum Master, Proxy Product Owner, PM) gives me clear understanding about how it should work with maximum efficiency. My passion is making business, so I'm reviewing the projects I'm working at from one more point of view.
