Developed innovative product formulations and characterization methods for polymeric nanoparticles loaded with highly potent small molecules, utilized for cancer therapeutic drug delivery. Executed studies within aggressive timeframes and garnered insights applied towards formulation development of poorly soluble cytotoxic drugs. • Developed unique formulation for nanoparticulate hybrid molecular cancer imaging agent, facilitating identification of biological target volumes geared towards aggressive treatments. Demonstrated first ever successful SPECT/CT imaging of mesothelin expressing tumours and provided direct evidence of potential inherent in hybrid probes for molecular imaging of cancers.
• Established track record of R&D excellence, including developing antimesothelin radioimmunoprobes as well as designing dual modality molecular bioprobe for MRI and SPECT imaging in form of magnetic nanoparticle conjugates with surface bound radiolabeled antibodies.
• PhD work resulted in 10 publications including an invitation to author a review in the Nanomedicine journal, and a book chapter. Presented at global conferences in USA, China, and Germany.
