If you need something to be written, particularly something funny or entertaining, I can guarantee it in advance. I work fast and I accept nothing less than my best. I can produce comedy in any form- I write news articles, scripts for sitcoms, films, and short films, websites, etc. I'm also one of the top 5 greatest actors of all-time; most of the voices in that video next to this are mine. There's also a V.O. reel, as well as two editing ones, in my portfolio. I spent two years in Hollywood pursuing comedy writing. In the spring of 2012 I won Best Comedy at the 10th annual DIY Film Festival for a film I made 100% on my own (played every part, was the entire crew). In the past two years, I've published something like 55 videos that've gotten in excess of 20 million views (I've lost track). I do everything for these videos except for the animating. I write the scripts, find the actors, direct them, do my own voice acting (make my wife do voice work, as well), edit the audio, direct my animators (who live in 3rd world countries), edit their animations, and voila- an animation made for a few hundred bucks that 100k people will see in the first month. I wish I didn't have to be a one-man crew (minus the animating), but my standards are too high for amateurs, and professionals are just that- professionals working in the industry (not for freelancers with small, per-episode budgets like me). So, yeah- hire me and whatever it is you need, I'll exceed your expectations. Because if I don't exceed yours, then I haven't met my own. I'm internally motivated- my motivation comes from within. I don't work to get paid, I work to accomplish my goal, which is for my work to blow you away. It's like giving someone a Christmas gift and seeing their eyes light up when they open it- you're like, "yes! Nailed it!" If you get my work and are like, "yeah, this'll do," that's devastating- I want to see those eyes light up and know I nailed it. Oh, and I'm also good at over-explaining stuff. Meaning, I tend to explain more than is necessary to get the point across. In other words, so much explaining that it goes over the amount of explaining that was necessary.
Amber Crosby Agency Contractor
As a video producer, I have worked on a wide variety of content over the last five years, ranging from commercial-style narratives to B2B service explainer videos. Having produced engaging and dynamic video content for small businesses and multi-billion dollar global enterprises alike, I have a strong ability to oscillate between the micro and macro aspects of any production. Some of the responsibilities I take on as producer of a production typically include: working with the client and creative team to help determine the best form of video for their messaging goals and brand voice, facilitating the client completion of a creative brief and asset delivery, creating a detailed budget breakdown and concept proposal, forecasting a project timeline, writing an SOW contract, assigning team members to the project, casting voice over artists and actors when needed, scheduling speakers, finding and booking locations, creating call sheets, acquiring insurance certificates, renting specialty gear, sourcing and booking specialty crew, ensuring feedback and delivery dates are remaining on track, monitoring project progress for quality and scope creep (intervening to reassess scope vs. cost when necessary), tracking project expenses, attaining all cast and crew paperwork, completing required billing and invoice documents, and making sure all finished video files properly delivered and archived. In addition to working as a video producer in both independent contractor and in-house positions, I have also performed project management roles. I worked for two years as a full time in-house producer and project manager at an award winning PR firm in San Francisco. In my role as project pipeline manager there, I tracked all projects in current production in order to assess what incoming projects our team could potentially take on and when, while weighing our revenue goals against our bandwidth. I provided advisement on how to most effectively allocate our resources, which internal team members should be assigned to upcoming projects and where it would be necessary to bring on additional contracted help outside of our core team. When it was required to bring on additional help, I often identified, vetted, booked, and briefed contractors. I often also did this to facilitate remote production, in some instances international production. The project pipeline I managed generally had approximately 20 projects in some stage of production at any given time, and I frequently leveraged contractors on a per project basis in order to meet our client's desired deadlines. Outside of producing and project management, I am adept on-set, have working knowledge of production equipment and variety of cameras, as well as strong video editing skills. I majored in editing at the Academy of Art University (graduated in 2009) and have worked as a contract editor for over five years for a number of San Francisco based production companies. I am proficient with a range of video editing systems and am familiar with standard post-production workflow protocol. My ongoing professional goal is to work as a producer, project manager, and editor to help create media that reaches its originally envisioned potential.

From an early age I’ve always had a passion for film and video. In 2011 I set up my youtube channel where I post my short films and visual effects videos. This channel has now got over 1.5 million total video views and over 1000 subscribers. In June 2014 I completed my Applied Computing honours degree, graduating with a 1st honours degree. I also enjoy doing some graphics design designing logos, t-shirt designs and various other graphical elements. Here is my graphics portfolio: http://imgur.com/a/hTpAx#0 I love creating videos and graphics, it enables me to express myself in ways that other mediums can’t. My favourite type of work is video editing as it really excites me when I see all the raw footage come together into the final piece. I also enjoy making videos from scratch with nothing more than an idea and a vision. My previous work includes putting together promotional videos for various types of products and creating animated showreels for trade shows. I’m very good a working to a deadline. When I produce videos for my youtube channel I often shoot on the Saturday, do a rough cut on the Saturday night and finish editing on Sunday and its uploaded by Sunday night. Once I have a task or a something to edit I like to stick at it and continue to work on it until it’s completed. I hate to let things build up or leave them unfinished.
I am a dedicated and constant worker. Over the past 10 years. I have experienced to use my skills and hardworking ability in video editing, graphics design and data entry jobs to benefit my employer and be of service to others. Through this experiences I can now proudly say that I have enough knowledge in performing several task particularly in video editing, graphics design and data entry.
Over time my interests and aspirations have not really changed. Ever since I was little, I always had an interest and curiosity for stories. First, the ones that were told to me, then the ones that I read. Last, the ones that I watched. Eventually, I also wanted to be part of them somehow and writing them seemed to be the best way. After school, I studied to be a Film Director, and at the same time improve my English constantly. I find that in order to tell something, you need certain resources. Language is the first one, the rest comes with the person.
Today I am in BSc (Hons) in Computer Animation & Visual Effects.
