I am an electronics engineer, XML consultant, technology evangelist, and frequently published technical author. After graduating in 1995 from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, I began designing software solutions for industrial control systems. Later, I turned to XML and built web- and WAP-based XML processing tools, server-side parsing solutions, and service applications. Since 2006, I have focused exclusively on Java- and XML-based open source tools and solutions. A strong advocate of open source tools, I not only design solutions based on them but also train software and IT personnel at Lahore universities in using open source technologies. I am the author of JasperReports 3.6 Development Cookbook (Packt Publishing, 2010). Please see my following articles that I've been writing to display my work. I have worked as a PHP developer for about 7 years for now. My experience in working on a wide range of projects allowed me to work with large corporations like Adidas, Reebook and Unilever - that kind of clients are very demanding and expect performance to the highest level. Thanks to that cooperation I know how necessary thing is good communication. I worked in a team of developers as well as on my own, additionally, I have experience as a team leader. Worked on small projects and some bigger ones that took over a year to complete. I am very much familiar with the latest technologies such as: PHP 5x (OOP), MySQL 5x/Postgresql 8+ (usually with ORM if needed), MVC Frameworks, jQuery, Mootools, DHTML, CSS3, HTML5, Youtube/Facebook/Twitter API to integrate projects with social media. All my applications are SEO optimized to play good with google and easy to work with SEO companies.
