I am a professional programmer since year 2000. My increasing needs of work freedom led me to start freelancing since year 2008, so I can choose interesting problems to solve. I am a polyglot programmer, so I can comfortably switch programming language in a single project. For example, I can work on both Objective-C iOS based client and also work on Python-based server code. My oDesk test results and portfolios show that polyglot nature. My portfolios consist of iOS, Android, and web apps I have developed. Currently, I am interested in programming software for the Web, Android, iOS, and OS X. For web apps, I prefer to use Python programming language and Django framework. For Android apps, I prefer to use its native Java SDK. For iOS and OS X apps, I prefer to use its native Cocoa/Objective-C SDK.

I have been learning and programming Java as a hobby for 3 years. Got no professional experience but feel myself quite easily with this language. Have done some personal projects for myself and friends, including programs for stocktaking, managing and keeping spreadsheet documents, filtering spreadsheet documents, interactive alarm-clock with management of music playlists and some minor tool programs. I have done regular expressions, GUI (Swing, AWT, JGoodies), databases (JDBC, HIbernate, MyBatis / MySQL, SQLite), dependency injection (Guice), MS documents (Apache POI), testing (JUnit, TestNG), EventBus, Google Guava, Apache Ant. Can write and review code. I'm accurate with my code (naming, comments) and relatively sane, so it's possible to read it after me.
