Over the past 10 years I've developed software both professionally, and as a hobby. I enjoy working on more than just my daily grind, so I've come here for a little something extra. Do you have an interesting project? Read on, I may have the skills you need. Let's talk desktop/back-end development: C#, Ruby, Go, C, Objective-C, Powerbuilder, SQL (ANSI/MSSQL), Perl. Those aren't languages I've just spent a few hours on; I've shipped products or currently maintain projects in those languages. How about web development? I love writing responsive, cross-browser/cross-platform sites that work as well on the desktop as they do on your phone or tablet. It's a great challenge to stay ahead of the curve.
I am a devoted Software Engineer, it's my passion creating the best possible software for each case. I have experience with requirements gathering, analysis, design, development and testing of software solutions. My main areas of knowledge are full stack web development, web scraping, data manipulation and machine learning algorithms. Working in team on Data Science Heroes, ask us about any data science project! http://datascienceheroes.com/
I'm the artist you need to ensure your project is completed with high quality, attention to detail and delivered on time at a fair price. I have a Master's degree in Digital Media Arts and Sciences from Indiana University, and a B.A. in Environmental Design from Purdue University. I have been working as a freelance artist since 2001. My work can be seen on television, dvds, web, billboards, books and posters, and I've worked for companies such as The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Walt Disney World, 3M, Tempus Resorts International, Impact Golf, Laser Institute of America, Lockheed Martin, United States Coast Guard and many more. My clients enjoy the individualized attention they receive, and keep coming back with confidence in my creative, technical and management skills, and for the peace of mind that their projects will always be completed on time and with only the highest quality.
Professional and hobbyist developer, with over 15 years of actual development under the belt and 6 years in 'hands-on' management positions (as engagement manager in a consulting firm and then as a CTO in a web startup). My technical experience ranges from desktop (C/C++/C#/Java/VB, scripting in Python/Ruby/VBA), embedded (PIC, ATMEGA, ARM), web (PHP, Ruby on Rails, JS/Coffeescript, HTML5 and some understanding of web design principles and UX construction) and ERP/Business Intelligence (SAP BW, QlickView). These days (2014), I am mostly doing web dev (front-end/back-end) in Ruby, Python and CoffeeScript - they allow very quick iterations and cutting through tons of boilerplate to get to a MVP as quickly as possible. My skills in C/C++ are a bit rusty, but I'll gladly dust them off for an interesting project :) I read Java and C# and don't mind using them as external dependencies, but I do not enjoy working with those. As for my management experience, I have been leading small and large engagements (up to 2 millions EUR) in offshore settings (India, China), both on-site and remotely I feel like I have a good understanding of the communication and management challenges involved in freelancing. As your contractor, I see myself adding value by challenging your requirements, helping you define clear specifications and, if the assignment is large enough to need more than myself as a developer, I can help you screen out other offshore resources and simplify your outsourcing experience.

First i am a proud nerd. In fact, an expert nerd. Additected to every new tecnologies and i have programmed everything from basic to c++ , including cobol, fortrand, pascal, lisp, prolog and of course HTML, java , php. My first program was when i was 12, i have programmed a database to manage all my games and books... in a 48k timex spectrum. So while my friends were actually trying to play games i was having fun with basic. At 18 i was doing a neural language AI application in prolog for high school. I was owner of computer companies and worked from architectural and machinery design in Autocad where i programed in Lisp to accelerate my work. My latest personal projects was the creation of a Telecom provider where i have solely developed the billing software and managed all the sites and linux servers. I am the CEO and owner of that company. So i became na expert on VoIP solutions , including asterisk where i have contributed with code changes. With that knowledge i have created and developed a new range of communication servers that today have the most advanced features i know, however having a simple , intuitive interface. Since these challenges are "done" and i need to have new projects to be happy, I am presently looking for new challenges and i have been playing with Android and its wonders. I also developed some Android applications on my own. Personally i am a workaholic. A proactive and self motivated person that in all projects i enter i give my 100%. I am a honest frontal person, i will allways contribute positivily with ideas in the projects i get involved. I am flexible and i work well under pressure, i sometimes make coworkers more nervous because i keep looking relaxed even when people are starting to panic. (this took years of training). So if you have an interesting project that is a challenge to me. I'm In!!
