Do you need someone to Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE Method) training courses? Do you want to make sure your learners get the most out of those courses, and that you are getting the best result possible for your dollars spent? You need me. I have degrees in marketing (B.Sc.) and education (M.A.), and am a current part time doctoral (Ed.D.) student where my area of research is on maximizing long-term learning outcomes from training programs. This gives me a strong foundation of math, statistics, research methodology, and teaching pedagogy to build on. I have a strong publication and conference presentation history, and I am happy to share my knowledge of learning pedagogy and materials development with anyone. I also have a proven history of materials development, having published more than 20 textbooks used in millions of lessons every year. I have trained thousands of employees in skills such as business communication, regulatory compliance, technology usage, adult learning pedagogy, and even retail sales. I started my teaching career in Japan, and soon became a lecturer at Waseda University. There, I really developed as a teacher and learned firsthand that results-oriented teaching was best. As I got better at teaching and knew more about pedagogy, I started getting hired as a consultant for various companies in Japan. I was able to bring great success to all my projects, and soon was consulting for Global Fortune 500 companies such as Nissan, Nippon Steel, and Teijin Pharmaceuticals. I always approached each client’s situation with open eyes and a solid understanding of how people learn. Years later I was given a chance to lead a massive retraining initiative for a chain of schools in Japan called Gaba, which involved the creation of an entirely new blended learning curriculum, the introduction of the first online learning tools used there, and the training of more than a thousand teachers in how to use these new online tools and materials. This required extensive data collection, assessment, and description. I worked every day with both front-line teachers and senior leadership to achieve the learning outcomes we needed. After two years, the teaching and learning had improved greatly, and the new curriculum was working well. I then decided to return to the USA. Most recently, I was working for the U.S. Department of Defense, developing and presenting employee training in adult learning theory, learning materials development, and eLearning tool usage. There, I created offline and eLearning materials for employee education programs, and worked with subject matter experts to create software usage and regulatory compliance workshops for teachers.

He was extremely focused on what we did, very details oriented and didn't let go until everything was perfected, even though that meant a lot of extra work we didn't originally anticipate. It was both easy and fun to work with him, and I am looking forward to continue working with Ray.” October 15, 2012 Iliya Yordanov, CEO of SilverWiz “I hired Ray to create promotional videos for Apparent Software's Mac application Trickster and Mac software bundle Productive Macs. He handled both projects very professionally, from initial script to the final video production, while asking for our feedback on every step of the way. We have been very satisfied with the resulting videos, and would not hesitate to hire Ray for our future projects. In addition of doing a quality work, Ray is a pleasure to work with - he's supportive, promptly responds to emails and just plain easy to talk to. I would recommend Ray to any indie developer looking to create a promotional or training screencast for his application.” May 25, 2012 Kosta Rozen, Managing Partner at Apparent Software

I have 6 years experience in web development.. Had to solve many problems and use several approaches and solutions in my projects.. I mostly work at back-end development. Currently I'm working on node.js and have developed almost every kind of back-end application and have dealt with different architectures. I've been developing things with node.js for 2 years and I love it. Previously I was programming on PHP for 3 years and some big projects, for video streamings and social media. When you're working in back-end you will need DBs.. I had to optimize some PostgreSQL and not only solutions for scaling.. for NoSQL dbs, I love Mongoose. RDBMS I prefer PostgreSQL. but have experience with MySQL, MSSQL, SQLite. I also love to develop front-end stuff and make vizualizations with d3.js and use angular.js/backbone and etc.. Always stay up to date. I've also got experience in three.js I love challanges, interesting ideas and projects to have fun.
