As a transcriptionist I've been working with transcripts in technical field, economy classes/lectures, teacher/student interviews and I've done several legal transcriptions, as well as medical classes/lectures. My strongest fields are technology, internet marketing, real estate and general discussions. I'm a skilful, pretty fast and accurate typist (85+ wpm) I deliver very good TAT (7 hours for 1 hour of audio, with included proofreading). I pay a lot of attention to research, when it comes to working on some things I'm not that familiar with, unknown subjects so I always strive to get the names and all the spellings correct. I also proof my work before handing it back to my clients. My usual work involves using my default/general template, placing 5-minute timestamps and excluding the usual stuttering, mumbling, repeated words and such. Everything I'm unable to hear for the first time is labeled as inaudible, most of which I can deal with in my second run through the file, proofreading.
