I am a self-motivated team player with thirteen years of IT Desktop support experience. My work history began as a level one service technician providing support for DSL customers. Since then I have worked my way through the ranks and maintained a position as a Site IT Administrator responsible for managing all servers, network gear and computers for a 220 seat call center. From Site IT I moved into a Service Desk Technician role responsible for providing Level 1 and Level 2 support for a global user base of around 3,000 users. While on the service desk I was selected to travel to the Philippines to help support the growth of the company in managing the technical implementation of new site launches, ensuring all LAN and WAN equipment was setup and deployed for business operations quickly and efficiently. I was also in charge of hiring local IT Administrators to ensure continuity of LAN and WAN equipment was maintained at peak performance. After managing the build out of two sites I assisted in the hiring of a Director to pass on the duties of managing all regional IT Administrative duties for Philippines Operations. I was then tasked with hiring and training a new Service Desk to support the growth of the company and the then 7,000 global user base. After the successful implementation of the Service Desk and the hiring of a NOC Manager I have moved on to other Technical Implementation projects most recently the roll out of an AD integrated self-service password tool for enterprise use.
