I’ve been a writer my entire life, and nearly all of my education has been to further that goal. Though I began writing poetry as a child, as a student I branched out to all types of creative and expository writing: short stories, research papers, memos, even translations from German and Swedish into English. As an exchange student in high school, I translated and edited shipping documents for the Bremen Harbor Authority.
