I have a wide variety of multimedia skills from video and audio editing to logo design and photo editing. My primary focus is on front-end web design for small businesses. My platform of choice is WordPress due to it flexibility and popularity. I can build just about any style website with a custom WordPress theme. I tend to choose projects that I'm interested in. It's important to me to create things I'm proud of. I try to be clear in my communications and I try to work closely with my clients to create something that the feel fits them well. I am not the cheapest option on oDesk. There are people in the world willing to work for nearly free just to get a start. Their skill level often match I will never be the low bidder on a job. I just apply my going rate and work to create something my clients with be happy with. I do this for a living. I'm not a "rock star", "ninja" or "guru". I'm a designer. This is a jobs that requires experience, honesty, insight, skill and good communication to do properly. Some advise if you don't hire me.. There are good and bad ways to do things even if the result is the same. The two biggest mistakes I would warn anyone about is modifying a theme that will be updated (and wipe out the changes) and working on a live server. I code on my home workstation, demonstrate on my staging server.. then publish to the live server(your actual website) when everything is working properly! Don't let any developer work on your live site. You don't want your customers seeing a server error.

'If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.' - Red Adair I am expirienced high- end photo retoucher, one of the best here in oDesk. I have worked for major Bulgarian companies. I am offering only the very best retouching service and quality. Although a lot of contractors would be tempted to hire cheaper freelancer to do the job, there are some major differences which I would like to point out - First, and foremost, when you are trying to promote your brand, the first thing your clients are going to see are your photos. Think of online stores (clothes, products, technology), billboards (again..), magazines, flyers, brochures, look-books, etc, etc. The first thing that catches your client's eyes is the photo. The photo is the representation of your product and brand. The client doesnt usually see the effort put into making the product, or the time spent on it, or how much technical skill is put into it. He sees only an image of a final product- which is just like all other products he sees daily. If the photo is cheaply done (for example: plastic face, colors which are ok, but not enhanced to "catch the eye", misused techniques, etc) it will represent your brand as cheap. Here is a fast example with a swimwear. Both photos are retouched. The first one is retouch with porcelain skin effect, badly retouched, bad shadows and highlight and bad photo manipulation - you can very clearly see the girl is fakely put into the background. This is cheap work, and make your brand looks cheap. This is what you are usually getting for cheap retouch. Second is professional retouch. 1) http://oi61.tinypic.com/10x5vlz.jpg (bad retouch) 2) http://oi62.tinypic.com/1197yo4.jpg These extra few dollars spent into retouching to hire a professional, will actually bring you a lot more money. Retouching is investment in your brand and your product. -I am familiar with human anatomy, which is essential in retouching. There are incredible amount of retouchers, who doesnt give attention to that, which results in "photoshop fails", even for big companies like Target and Victoria secret. Do you think your average 5$/h knows anatomy? - I am good in color correction. I know how to change and alter colors , so your photo catches the eye. Speaking of colors, here are some examples. - I am speaking English. You would be surprised how many people here have their profiles and cover letters written for them. It looks alright, until you hire the person and start talking with him about the project- then it turns out, he doesnt quiet do what you want, because he can't really understand you. - I am creative, and I can give that extra- something your photo needs to reach the next level. - I am hardworking, reliable, and I always keep deadlines.

From 2001 to 2005 I was the sole proprietor of a small web development business located in Sydney, Australia. During this I time, I was responsible for all client relations, design and development of new and existing systems and project co-ordination with contractors and temporary staff. In 2005, I moved into a Project Management role with SS R&D where I was in charge of managing and resourcing all new software implementations and associated development. My role included: cost to benefit analysis of major development work; human resource management; and technical documentation of custom software implementation requirements. After 12 months as PM, I was promoted to the role of technical business analyst where my main responsibilities shifted to product enhancement and process re-engineering. During my time as technical BA, I have significantly reduced the technical skill set required by SS R&D staff to support the product. I achieved this by automating previously manual tasks, and designing GUI solutions for existing command line operations. I still maintain a strong project management presence within the company, and provide mentoring and advice to junior members of staff on both technical and business related questions and concerns. I have extensive experience in requirements elicitation, system documentation, process automation and re-engineering and system design and development. I have been actively programming in PHP, Informix SPL, PL/SQL and standard web technologies such as; CSS, HTML and XML for 10 years. Any further information can be provided on request.
