This is a space I've lived in for over 20 years, successfully and repeatedly. My strengths lie in visionary business planning and strategy. I can take role as an advisor, collaborator, and/or team member to execute on plans or strategic initiatives. I develop Business Plans, Strategic Plans, Operational plans (Marketing, Sales, and/or Technical), create financials, and help recruit top management. I help clients positively deliver results to their bottom line, become "viable", and position for a high(er) probability of an 'exit' when the time is right. I help deliver organized, business-focused narratives and messaging that inform, both internally and to external stakeholders, whether they be vendors, clients or investors.

I find many with great business "concepts" but not yet matured to a level where they can effectively advance their goals or secure capital. My time and focus is now spent helping start up and early stage companies achieve success while enjoying some of the fruits of my career to date.
Whether a start up, early stage, or middle market, I approach every engagement in the same manner. I first establish an understanding of the business as it exists today. I review the current business structure at a granular level. I peel back the layers to clearly assess the business, the market dynamics, the team, and strategy. I request information on financials and ongoing capital requirements. I need to see the business in its current iteration and then sit down with you to discuss both the 'big picture' and what the goal line looks like to you.
Early on, we may well reach a point where I share less-than-good news; There's still work to be done. But it is at this point where I see clients reach a level of cognitive realization, who understand and agree with my position or feedback, and that's where things can start to get exciting.
Vision cannot stand on its own..., it begins with what I like to call "the big idea" but it must then evolve into a collective strategy with all members focused and on board. Then, with the right team, and even a little luck, success can manifest itself in a successful outcome. This path can sometimes get mired in the order of things yet it all comes down to one simple equation; "structured execution". Building a great team.., making sure capital is available and properly spent.., knowing where to position against competition..., these things and more become essential to the ultimate goal of business success. A great business concept can not exist in a vacuum. It requires a sound, executable strategy and lots of serious hard work.
