    Currently, I am affiliated as Ph.D. student in the School of the Environment and also with the Centre for Environmental Change and Human Resilience (CECHR) at the University of Dundee. I am on study leave from BRAC University where I was involved in teaching and research as Director and Assistant Professor in the Centre for Climate Change and Environmental Research (C3ER). I taught different courses on climate change and environment, including the climate change adaptation course in the Post-Graduate Programme for Disaster Management (PPDM), climate change and health module in the James P. Grant School of Public Health (JPGSPH) and the undergraduate course on environmental science. I started my career at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2002 and worked at the Centre for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) from September'2006 till July 2011. I was also involved in the global negotiation process under the work programme on loss and damage as Bangladesh delegation in COP 18 held in Doha. I did my graduation on Civil Engineering in 2001 from Bangladesh Institute of Technology (BIT), Khulna. Later, I completed MSc in water resources engineering from the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2004 and achieved degree on Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2010 from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) under the University of Dhaka. I expertise in the areas related to climate change science, adaptation planning, water resources management, economics of adaptation, adaptation investment assessment, environmental impact assessment and mainstreaming of climate adaptation in policies. Throughout my career, I contributed to more than twenty-five water and natural resources management projects. My contributions were published as two book chapters, two peer-reviewed journal publications and ten in the national and international conferences.  less
