    After nearly twenty years in the trenches of teaching history and Latin, I am changing focus to concentrate on writing. I am known for thought-provoking, well-researched, and accessible presentations of complex and often abstruse content, as well as carefully crafted, polished, and effective promotional materials. I enjoy writing on a range of topics and in a range of verbal registers from "business casual" to magisterial. In my freelance work so far on other sites, I have authored blog content on a range of topics, from exterior design to the elements of self esteem to important information to consider for banding trees against cankerworms. When you need a presentation of a topic that is balanced, thought-provoking, sophisticated, and nuanced, look to me. When you need someone who sweats over word choices, who has strong opinions about the Oxonian comma, and who (I am sorry to say) reflexively cringes when hearing Bo Diddley sing, "Who do you love?", I am your man.
