For the past decade, my skills in Graphic Design have developed along with an understanding of design in general. The range of ability I can utilize goes from touching up photos, and seamlessly mixing scenery and images together, to replicating a design style to keep a consistent form between artists and projects. Additional skills I have developed recently is composing CD packages, larger print media (Banners, posters, and large flyers), utilizing color-separations and converting for them (CMYK or RGB → Spot color) regarding printing for T-Shirts and stickers and any media that utilizes such methods of separations, and rebuilding images/logos from a low-resolution scan (say, a sticker) into a larger media adaptation, like a T-shirt printable (not easy, but I have an eye for recovering certain images/logos to within a good means of it's former glory; interpreting any type to as close to it's original typeface as possible).
I have proficient skill in much of the Adobe Creative Suites ranging from CS1 to CS5, with most of my proficiency existing within Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; and a good level of cross-application to further refine works and proper use of certain shortcuts (IE- Livetrace tool).
Regarding Microsoft Office programs, I am quite familiar with Office 2003-2007, and with much of my free time, I continue to learn and extend my skills with Microsoft Excel making spreadsheets that can utilize basic logic, as well as execute some semi-complex math functions. I can essentially build calculators for various purposes, provided given one (from simple game rules and scorecards, to record/book-keeping tools (be it serious applications or not)).
I continually look for new things to learn, and want to gain proficiency in skills I have gained from broadening my horizons. One such program which I am still acquiring familiarity with is Blender and other similar 3D art tools. I don't have many issues with 3D modeling itself, but texture mapping, building a skeleton, making interactive objects, and composing a scene I still need to learn. But I am, however, capable of translating a 2D idea on paper into a 3D object/rendering, retaining proportion and scale necessary to be recognizable as the idea on paper or in mind.
I'm open-minded to tackling process-based jobs (cut out or modify clusters of images); though my computer may not be powerful enough to handle the larger loads that can't be automated as easily (Still got a relatively primitive 32-bit computer, so heads-up.). In lieu of that, I am more willing to tackle more creative projects that don't rely as much on processing power to process numerous images at a time (100+ images/hr), but rather be dedicated to singular projects/compositions (300dpi CDs and posters composed of a dozen or so layers).
