I have a UK university PhD, in Artificial Intelligence, and the business management skills to match, together With 15 years of Delphi, C++, Java, SQL, and Object-oriented analysis and design experience. I specialise in development including protocol specification, thread management, distributed communication and database transaction management. I have retro-fitted software in tasks ranging from installing improved modules to sophisticated Artificial Intelligence sub-systems. I can provide the often essential empathy with the contract holders, and the pragmatics to satisfy the demands of management. I have 20 years of competency in the software industry, and have a proven track record that will guarantee the successful realisation of your system requirements. I have designed and implemented systems used by multi-billion turnover corporations around the world, saving millions of pounds savings per year. My scope in system design and development ranges from individual utilities and embedded operating systems, through to large-scale corporation-wide distributed architectures. I am also able to provide a code debugging and fixing service, either onsite or online. I can give workshops and can facilitate training of new software developers, both in-house and online. I have managed my own team and maintained their skills matrices, ensuring training has been current. I have defined and managed new product releases and have written instruction manuals for new and "super" users at the customer end of the project.
For the last 12 years I received a wide experience in different technologies and programming languages, worked on different projects from different areas and proved that I can bring the result. I worked as a team leader and as an independent developer and know how to do things right. My system administration experience helps me very much in my software developer's life, it gave me deep understanding how complex systems work and how they are managed.

I'm a physics student with broad interests in mathematics, computer science, cognitive science and space exploration. I'm looking for challenging projects incorporating mathematical concepts, with a strong emphasis on exploration and prototyping. Delivering production-ready applications is less fun to me than thinking of something original and challenging. I prefer to be forced to explore an uncharted territory than to follow "industry best practice". My language of choice is the Lisp family (especially SBCL and Racket). I'm also strongly dragged towards functional languages (mostly Haskell and Ocaml). I'm ready to learn new stuff if it means thrill, excitement and novelty.

Over the last 10 years I have developed wide range of business software using Python C++, Java, C# for frontend and Oracle and MySQL for backend. My primary experience is the problems solving, not just writing in particular programming language. Fast prototype developing for new systems and extending the functionality and refactoring for the old one.I'd like to use automated software testing, because it's increases my productivity and software quality. Check my code on github - https://github.com/kmmbvnr I'm author of several django related libraries for simplifying development and testing.
My name is Joshua Moody. I have 8 years of experience working as a professional software developer. I work as a programmer because I love producing quality software. From proposal to finished product, I believe that communication is the key to successful partnerships. I pay attention to the details and will ask a lot of questions to make sure I understand your needs. I will work with you to get the job done right. I specialize in iOS (iPhone/iPad) apps and Cocoa applications. I also have years of Java, Unix, and Technical Writing (Documentation) experience. I use source control (Git, Subversion, Mercurial, CVS, RCS), bug tracking (Fogbugz), and Test Driven Development to make sure that my code performs as expected.
