    I am a current student, returning to school after completing two year long terms with AmeriCorps and Public Allies. Completing my degree online allows me to fulfill flexible work schedules if needed. I have a strong background in customer service, from my first paid job at Chick-fil-A, and have held positions in many other capacities interacting with diverse people and populations. During my two volunteer terms, I learned the importance of personal and team accountability, while serving over 3400 hours of service with Community Preservation and Development Corporation. Before joining Public Allies, I received a paid summer internship working with CPDC, and learned of the opportunity to stay on board with the organization through an apprenticeship with Public Allies. While working at CPDC, I worked with the youth mentoring program my first term, and as resident services assistant my second term. Taking two years from studies to work with Public Allies has given me the confidence to become an entrepreneur. I have huge dreams, but dreams don't always pay the bills.
